Well if it's the toy that's being represented than they clearly failed.
Not a good example. Unlike Sky Lynx, Rodimus doesn’t need the trailer for his robot form nor to be functional as a vehicle. I never had much use for OP’s trailer either. As a kid I never played with it, and I’m pretty sure I threw away the one that came with MP-10.
I’m not saying the trailer shouldn’t be offered, as I know it’s of interest to many. I just wish there were a way to get the figure without it. To me, it’s just money thrown into the recycle bin.
Let’s not forget that Hasbro released Masterpiece Rodimus Prime without the trailer....
This Rodimus is a 9.5 in bot mode and an 8 in Alt. With the accessories I will call it a solid 9, yeah it is a tad on the expensive side but it is a 100% get for me. The shattered glass or nemsis version too lol.
I'm very excited, I can never get enough Rodimus. This looks amazing.
Well funny you mention it... Optimus' trailer actually connects to the truck about two inches too far forward. It would be much more accurate if it connected further back on the legs and left more of a gap between the trailer and cab. And yet plenty of people do accept it. So what's your argument now?
Have you considered that maybe Rodimus Prime was designed first and Hot Rod borrows his engineering? Or that they were both designed at the same time, similar on purpose considering the character designs are similar, and the extra cost for each figure goes into the amount of parts and plastic?
Have to agree with Eliot, you both have a good point but let’s be honest it’s just an add on to Hot Rod. Shame you can’t buy just the trailer. Would have saved tons of carbon lol.
What would the Shattered Glass version of the Rodimus Unicronus look like? All whites, golds, and pastels? And would you buy that version?
Maybe call it Rodimus Unicornus.
Hahaha, I was the same the trailer just collected dust.
And it's nice that they gave us so many Rodimus and even Optimus figures without trailers over the years, but now that they want to give us some that do have them I'm all for it.
And this one was designed in a similar way, so I'd say there's a good chance they'll release this one without the trailer eventually, too.
No, Pony Prime
I think there's a decent chance that a trailer-less release would still clock in as a Leader, particularly if he retains his other accessories. Prices are going up on toys.
Candle challenge accepted. I guess the Deluxe sized Rodimus will tip over even is holding any candle
The only thing i got from this was how many fricken tabs you have open
If they keep them going, I can easily see this as part of a Spoiler Pack #4 or something like that.
Great idea. Love it!
Looks great, currently awaiting mine gonna be months.
