Why even make a barricade die-cast if its going to look like crap like that one? The Hasbro TF toys I get because they become the robot, but a die-cast model USUALLY is bought for accuracy on the car and to be displayed.

It's also a shame there doesn't seem to be a Hound or a Drift.

Hound and Drift are both Mercedes, so maybe they just couldn't get the liscense.

Hmm. Color me possibly interested in BB and Hot Rod (depending on what else is coming). As far as I can tell BB's bot mode isn't meaningfully different, but that's a great car mode. Hot Rod is just interesting in general.

Nice! Basically this is the return of RPM's and I really dug that sub-line of diecast cars (even have some on display as desk toys in my office at work; Barricade and old Caramo Bee are cool; others weren't as accurate as they could've been such as Sideswipe's weird not-Corvette Stingray concept).

These looks fairly accurate and look pretty good! Dat shiny chrome! Color me interested! I wonder how they'll scale next to Tomica's stuff, for example, since I use some of their diecast cars as Transformers stand-ins (such as Lockdown's dark gray Lamborghini Aventador and Soundwave's silver Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG).

Edit: Just saw that these are 1:24 scale. That's big!

Though the ROTF and DOTM figures were licensed by both Saleen and Ford (but not the figure from the first movie):

The guns on the back of the car look silly enough on the deluxe so don't know why they're on the die cast model. The spoiler would look better, and I'm sure that's a custom part of the car not specific to the Mustang.

It's good you have a choice with Optimus, the larger one in scale or the smaller one similar in size to the cars.

But will they be big enough to fit human alliance and (fingers crossed) M.A.S.K. figures? Curious to see some interior shots of the vehicles in this line.

Speaking of 1/24 scale, does anyone know if peg stands for the human figures in this scale exist, and if so, where to get them? G.I. Joe/Star Wars/3.75" stands are plentiful, but I don't even know what the size of the peg holes in the human figures are, in order to potentially assist in searching.

Wonder how long before these are released. Nearer the movie release date maybe. I really do hope they do Hound and Drift, it'd be nice to have a set of the Autobots in accurate vehicle modes.

I have a pre-order for Prime on HLJ, but how long are these guys gonna be? I hate when they say 1/24 scale because I have no idea what that is

The cars are roughly 8 inches, Optimus is a bit longer and definitely a smaller scale than 1:24.

This review shows how it scales with leader DOTM Bumblebee, if that's any help
