First4Figures has revealed the first actual images of the SD Ultra Magnus Statue. The statue stays very true to the original concept, as well as the 3D Render we have seen before. Check it out Here. Remember, this is an AFX Exclusive in the U.S and a Forbidden Planet Exclusive in the U.K.
Very nice, I can't wait to get mine. This will be the second statue I own, I've only got the War Within Prime one right now.
Once again, this will be the first TF statue I've ever chosen not to purchase. The draw of non-transforming versions of these characters (for me) is that it provides an opportunity to physically represent the character in a way that was not possible to create in the original transforming toy. The statue/bust sculpts should effectively communicate the overwhelming power and imposing physical bulk of these characters. This one is just silly - and while it's clear to see that silly is the intent, it's disconcerting that all F4F has offered so far is this item and a quite expensive 12" version of two characters that (while very popular) have already been released in 12" format from BOTH of the previous statue licensees. Unless they have something huge up their sleeve, I'm worried that F4F is not off to a particularly good start with the license. I realize opinions differ on this one, but speaking as a TF statue completionist (i.e., someone who is very much in their target market), I'm hoping for much more than this in the near future. Should that happen, I'll happily eat crow and open my wallet.
Yes indeed. As much as I enjoy this board and the vast majority of the people on it, that shouldn't (and won't) create any influence on my decision to purchase or not purchase this item; nor will it curb the expression of constructive thoughts about it. I think it's absolutely terrific to see a company like F4F reaching out to the fandom. When what I perceive to be a successful result is produced, it will receive my full monetary support. Since it seems like a lot of people like this one, hopefully it will do well enough to create opportunities for future collaborations - and hopefully the result will be more suited to my liking. Yes, I am personally REALLY looking forward to the Beast Wars busts, and I hope statues are a possibility as well. If they're as good as they have the potential to be, I'll happily retract my thoughts about F4F's treatment of the license - and FAR more importantly, I'll buy them all!

I've never liked statues. Transformers should be able to do just that 'transform'. But When this one won the contest I immediatly placed my order for one, it's just hilarious! iDD........ BWAHHAHAHAHAHAA
