Hahah.. it's funny. Right from the start I thought to myself; fandom is going to shit over how un-normal/G1 this Shockwave looks. But, take heart in the fact that at least the beast armor snaps on/off. Personally, I dig it a lot. But I'm no G1 purist, so I'm much more laid back about new interpretations.

 

That Shockwave doesn't look too bad, and his giant-mole-clawed tank mode looks decent too. I was expecting much, much worse.

Also, I wonder how many of those Predacons will feature in the show? I'd like to see the Abominus team (we can't call them Terrorcons can we?), but that may be a weeee bit ambitious for the show's budget, so I'd settle with Predaking and maybe three others.

Well, I'll probably get shockwave. I got voyager optimus. That's the only ones I want from this line. I'm gonna be saving alot of money.

 

And I think the majority of the fandom will unsnap that armor and leave it there. Great to hear that it'll be able to give us a more prime looking shockwave just hope he's not painted orange in any parts.

The predacon notes are very interesting and now am personally hoping the majority of them appear in the show cause they sound pretty cool.

 

As long as that orange stuff is removable I think I'll get this guy.

I like how no one is actually reading what's written beside that image of Shockwave.

 

Giving existing characters that didn't get a toy yet snap-on armor is a brilliant move from Hasbro. That way everybody can be happy!

I was thinking that would do just Shockwave itself from Takara.

I think the removable armor is a really fine way to go for Hasbro. That way, we can get pretty nice, on model characters and kids get crazy monster crap that they can bash around for fun. Shocky here looks pretty great from what I can see, and I can't wait to get the full reveal at Toy Fair!

 

Shockwave is nice and all....but I'm more interested in seeing the rest of the Predacons in plastic form. lol

 

His body doesn't look as bulk as the show model.

 

So does this mean that all of these Predacons are going to get a toy of some sort?

 

Judging by this picture, it looks like it might look pretty decent without the armor.
