This actually looks so much better than the officially released clip. I hope the show is more like this. Megatrons design is meh but his speech and the lore possibilities this brings up is really interesting. And that intro is actually really fun

I unequivocally disagree, but at least now I know why the weird comparisons are being made.

Come on, their excuse for mute Bee in TFP was that “oh the kids know mute Bumblebee from the movies so we gotta do it”. Then they gave him his voice back, and then later TLK gave him his (horrendous) voice back too.

Can we please stop? It’s been eleven years and more than half of it was with mute Bee. Jesus.

Anyway, the radio gimmick doesn’t really work for me since his mouth is visibly not moving. It’s as disconnecting as that awful Walking with Dinosaurs movie.

Animation is okay I guess. Much more fluid than RID’s static crap. And the designs look better in action than RID as well (not everybody has Bee’s face and Shockwave’s chest, though now they all apparently have wings instead).

You can’t say that this is targeted for kids as a reason for the overly simplistic look. G1 Transformers, He-Man, Visionaries, GI Joe, M.A.S.K., we’re all targeted for kids, and didn’t treat kids like they were babies.

Blame the writers. Bay didn’t make Bee this way.

No no, Bay is responsible for every bad thing that has happened to TFs since 2007. IDW being shit? Bay. No BW revival? Bay. Toys getting crappier and crappier? Bay.

I kind of really dig Windblade's retractable wings. That's an awesome idea. Makes sense too. Kind hope they find a way to do that for a figure gimmick in a later figure for her.

The animation looks fine enough, although the voice acting sounds a little rough to me.

As far as 'Bee's radio voice...I'm not surprised they incorporated it, but at the same time it doesn't really work in a cartoon as well as it does in a movie when you can't use recognizable voice clips and sounds like movie!Bee could. On-top of just making him come off more like Wreck-Gar.

I'm glad his Animated stingers are back though.

Windblade sounds like her Combiner Wars VA with a lower-pitch.

What a coincidence, my nephew agrees with all my opinions too. Guess we must be related.

So we're doing the whole Bee lost his voice again?
    Bee: Not this again
Well at least they brought the stringer back. We haven't seen that since animated.

Yes G1 Transformers fucking did. It's the same show where a civil war is treated like a brain damaged squirmish and no violence ever has any consequence until they needed to sell more cynical toys in the movie.

I'm sure the kids will love it. Me personally, I haven't been invested in an actual Transformers cartoon since, maybe, Beast Machines? No, maybe RID. I know they're skewing the viewership to the newer younger fans, and that's not a bad thing. Funny how Windblade's character has come to the forefront since being introduced, but more female characters are great.

That said, Bumblebee speaking through a radio was interesting in the first movie for the first half until he was actually REPAIRED, but got ran into the ground. It's a trend that needs to die.

The Toys suck, the Warrior Shockwave I have is a regretful purchase.

The Animation is... we've seen less than one whole episode, I can't say anything definately good or bad, just it doesn't look finished.

The Writing, again we haven't seen an episode, only 2 clips with dialogue, and not much story. But most importantly we haven't seen any substance to hook a audience, where is the appeal.

I was defending the series, when there was potential, but then the Toys came out, Footage came out.

There's nothing to defend here, just stalling and hopping, the Cartoon or Toys do not damage the franchise.

No. They treated kids like they were kids, not babies. And yes the point to all cartoons was to sell toys. Nothing has changed

I love dangermouse. And the characters sure look similar, especially windblade is such a pouty cutie.

I like the designs themselves, but I find something about the animation style slightly... off putting? Unsettling? It feels like it's landing in some weird uncanny valley for me.

And that pretty much sums it up. Another snoozefest series and eventual line I'll be passing on....Again. More money for Etsy/eBay I guess.
