Putting aside the obvious Bee problem.

I love it. It’s nice to see RID similar designs with animation that actually flows like butter.

It’s like a mix of Prime and RID in all the good ways.

 

I don't hate it, but I'm not a fan. I think I will give this one a pass; the animation looks decent, and I like the joker/straight-man dynamic Bee and Windblade have going, but the premise doesn't excite me that much, and the possibility of non-speaking Decepticons is off-putting.

 

That would be a quality TF show this generation. Wasn't hoping to hate it again.

 

It's nice to have animation above 15 frames per second and the action flowed smooth, but Bumblebee's radio voice got very old after 5 seconds. Not sure what to make of the art and designs. Not sure why Thundercracker is a mute grunt though.

 

That's exactly right. It's not even like we're comparing it to a totally different franchise. It has been done MANY times with Transformers. I left Animated off because I don't think it is as good as Prime or Beast Wars, though still a terrific show in its own right. American-made TF shows have a much better hit than miss record. So they have no excuse for dropping the ball.

Watched the clip. Not enough for me to form an opinion on yet. I’ll just hold off until I can see a few episodes.

I'm pretty sure Bumblebee's way of talking is gonna get annoying. It worked in the movies because they used a filter and static/glitching to make it seem like it's actually coming from a radio. Cyberverse seems to not use any filters or anything, meaning it just sounds like he's changing voices. Somehow I feel movieverse Bee's somewhat emotionless face and lack of a proper mouth worked well with the radio gimmick. Cyberverse Bee is a bit off-putting since he makes plenty of facial expressions but never moves his mouth. It might've worked better if they went with a movie-esque face or had him move his mouth to match what he is "saying", but I guess that's just my opinion.

Not feeling it-gonna pass on this, like I did some of the other recent animated offerings, because:

*BB talking through his radio for the umpteenth time-Bay and Co. created a monster when he and Paramount came up with this redundant trait while doing the '07 movie;

*Adding a TRON-glow to Transformer body parts: while I'm a HUGE Tron fan, I'm not feeling that look being applied again to Autobots and Decepticons;

*Thundercracker grunting-WTF???!!!!!!

*Windblade-while I love seeing Female Cybertronians, you mean to tell me that out of all the Female Cybertronians across ALL of the vast TF mythos, she, and a select few (i.e. Chromia and Arcee) are the only ones worthy of being featured??? FOHWTBS. . .

I'll continue creating my own characters, especially Female ones. To those who will watch this and actually like it, I'll quote my Man Humpty Hump, LMAO!:

 

This is pretty much going to be a Transformers version of Rick & Morty, but for kids.

Good animation, bad humor.

 

I miss Animated and Prime.

 

If it is like Rick and Morty then I'm done with it before it starts.

 

Looks promising, I like it especially the fight between Windblade & Thundercracker. Don't really have a problem with Bumblebee's radio voice this time either and I like the animation too.
