I received word today about a tragedy that struck Bill, one of the great guys that helps make Botcon run as smoothly as it does. Last Thursday, his house was destroyed in a Fire. Luckily, Bill and his parents are ok, but they lost EVERYTHING in the fire. If any members of the community can spare anything, even just the time to send a letter of condolence to let Bill know your thoughts and prayers are with him, I'm sure he'd appreciate it in this trying time. His local post office is holding his mail so that he can pick it up there. That would be this: [email protected]
Terrible time of the year to lose a home, as if there is a good time. I hope bill and his family are able to get back to their lives as quickly and painlessly as possible.
sucks to loose your entire house, especially in a fire. Remember back in the early 90s when our garage caught on fire in a duplex house when lived in. But we were fortunate the fire department was able to control it before it spread to neighbors and our house But I dont follow much of what goes on with the Transfomer Fandom like I use to years ago, but Im curios about this Botcon issue, what happen?
This is not the thread to discuss it. Lets keep the thread on topic. Just search around, you'll find out. Please, no more childish insults, or bringing FunPub drama into this.
I'm really to sorry to hear about this thankfully they didn't lose their lives; stuff is replaceable. I'll send a card but is it good to have the addy, sort of out there, like that?
That's terrible; while losing your home in general is extremely unfortunate, especially to a fire, for it to happen during the holiday season is pretty much rubbing salt in the wound so to speak. My condolences to Bill and his family, hopefully they will be able to recover from this soon enough.
I hope that this man and his family make a speedy recovery from this. Even having a good amount of home owners insurance, I'd be at a complete and total loss if this happened to me. Thoughts and prayers with this man's family.
Thoughts and prayers for Bill and his family. I can't even imagine what it must be like to have such a thing happen, especially at this time of year. The fact no one was hurt is the silver lining.
ow, that's horrible. I'm sorry to hear about this. I sincerely hope they're able to get things right soon.
I wish you and your family the best in the future and merry christmas. I hope you get your home back ASAP.
Pretty glad no one was injured, but saddened by the loss of their home. Hope things go better for them.
