Me too guys. My seller refused to refund or let me transfer no doubt because they know this is a lemon and wants to get rid of the stock ASAP.

 

I love the design of M09 and I really hope it isn’t actually a dud (or as much of a dud as people claim) so that I can buy it with more confidence.

 

I’m going to let my pre-order ride for now, see how things play out. It’s a no-cash-down one with TCP, so not only do I not have to risk anything, but I have plenty of time before he hits stateside retailers to make up my mind or see if they fix anything, though I imagine that’s an extreme longshot given the circumstances.

 

I'm still in too. I waffled and told baba to keep my order but hold for now (I don't know if they are shipping yet anyway). I still like what I see and I got in on the lower initial price so I might still take my chances. If I'm being honest with myself it will end up more of a display piece than a toy I play with and really put through its paces. Waiting for more reviews.

It's slowly starting to trickle in here in Taiwan. If I had to guess, I'd say I should have it end of next week.

Seems to be a bit of a rough patch for Optimus figures right now. First the terrible QC on TW Optimus, plus the ridiculously tiny ball joints for wrists, then the KO MP44 having knee problems, now this one.

Oh, and am I the only one looking forward to the Lemon Tree Optimus?

 

It's because Optimus Prime from Lemon Tree is in different scale and it's difficult to compare. Lemon Prime is 15cm tall and it should compared with SS38 (18cm tall) instead of either F09 or M09.

but of course, I'm also interesting in Lemon Prime

 

A better knock off MP-44 will come along, and TransCraft is our last hope.

The quality of the joint M09 from seeing the reviews in the video may be worse than the WJ OS KO SS38  ... I will keep waiting for M09 to arrive, because it would be nice to have the Optimus BB movie ver. 12 inches out of WJ for memories with WJ  ..

I'm also in. I already have two TW FLs (standard and deluxe), what's one more? Besides, I like the different way he transforms compared to the others. Looks like fun, unlike FL.

I still think that the chest and the body shape of M09 is good but I really cannot accept the heavy body is just supported by a piece of plastic. It would be much better if they can put more metal into calves and ankle instead of chest.

I'm antsier than usual because I accidentally ordered him held for the duration of the lockdown and then upgraded my shipping and whenever I do something like that I half expect wires to get crossed somewhere and for the upgrade to not go through.

 

Hmm so now baba is asking for an extra $15 to cover shipping. I do not want to pay a penny more for this than I already have. Ugh.
