My only concern is where I'm gonna put the logo, the shoulders are small.

Well well, this is definitely an issue!! I typically don't mind something like that, as I could just fix it with floor polish, which I easily do with this, but I shouldn't have to.

FS is awesome looking...it's mainly due in part I believe to TW being almost 3x the price...finish is premium...but figure was substandard. So it's to lessen the impact of denial. ;)

    This makes sense lol.

My only concern now is the missing shoulder ratchet. Why isn't that a thing??

    Also, is this piece broken?

yeah...Why didn't they cast that with ratchet teeth? You'd think Nylon plastic ratchets there like TE01 has on it's knees Ver. 2 would work out better, and be stronger than just a friction joint??
I was going to do this whole defense of the design See below..
but the arms not having ratchets??? Why?? Why?? No hip ratchets for sideways posing also bothers me.. These are simple parts that could be cast.. Why go with the "only a matter of time" friction joints that can loosen with use or posing??
URGGHHHH!! I was actually considering this as a purchase choice..

There wasn't much of a difference in the chests between the 3A or Three zero figure.. I actually think the WJ version is better.. IMHO.
aesthetically.. but lack of ratchets?? in this day and age of 3rd party figures??
    That's a no no..
BIG NO NO.... Looking at you Apollyon!!! Even with the 2nd release his arms don't hold well..

    3A or Three zero figure.

I mean, yeah the chest is too wide, can admit that. But here’s the thing, this guys proportions don’t work with themselves. That’s the issue I have. His lower torso is as wide as his legs up to his chest, which gets even wider. Both sections wider than the 3A figure. This would work if the arms were similarly large, but the arms are smaller in size than the 3A arms, which is ridiculously small looking on him. More accurate details are well and good, but if it’s on a wonky proportioned figure, details start to lose meaning.

Again, this is an opinion, which means it ain’t fact. so no need to start getting defensive over the toy. It’s not justification, just an opinion that’s different from yours.

For a transformable figure, I love it. If I want a display figure, I have DLX Optimus. More choices, more happy people!.

Freedom Leader Optimus (right) does look more aptly portioned and sculpted than Fire Scorpion Optimus (left).

However Fire Scorpion Optimus looks more physically intimidating that Freedom Leader Optimus.

Dang! Now I'm conflicted about which one to get for myself.

I know right!? FS looks like he is a badass!! shame about the lack of arm and side leg ratchets.. I would buy if that was added.. Maybe someone will do a Ver. 2? TF Direct? I may wait to see what the Transcraft offering looks like. But M09 is a nice piece.

Paint chipping in diecast parts. Take note when you handle it

The legs don’t move when he shakes the figure, but the legs can’t hold their own weight when moving outward. The arm When put up can’t hold the gun up right, and falls down. Without the gun the arms seem to hold their own weight.

I don't see torso as being wide, just too tall. The arms are a little on the thin side, which may be what's throwing you off. That said, I now have bigger issues... please see below lol
Oh hell no!!!!! You guys all know that I was ALL IN on this Prime, but if this is really how it's gonna be, then fuck that.

I'm gonna watch the first vid where he was transformed and see and pay close attention to how it's being moved around and how it holds up.

I will cancel my order in a heart beat.
Nooo, not ok at all. He apparently has 0 ratcheted joints, so he isn't stable by any means.

    Edit:

Just watched the video again, and the person doesn't even attempt to show any range of motion, or how the figure holds. The back panels definitely don't hold up at all.

Sorry bro not trying to rain on your parade but I feel the same way. The only thing this figure needs is ratchet joints. I like everything else. But if he's just friction joints?? I'm not gonna buy it. That's one thing I will never do again is buy a figure that doesnt have ratcheted joints. Never never never again. Apollyon was the only figure I bought aside from BMB OSKO SS ROTF Megatron where I bought knowingly that ratchets weren't there. Now the BMB is fine. But I hate how his giant weighted legs don't have sideways ratchets. Makes me feel like he's gonna do the splits when posing.

Someone please reformat this guy!!! Or I'm just gonna wait for the elusive taking too long to reveal Transcraft version..

It's all good bro, I appreciate honest feedback that doesn't feel like someone's purposely trying to shit something I want.

But I just watched the transformation video, and it's obvious that the person is purposely trying to hide the vulnerabilities of the toy. He's super careful with it, and like I said in my reply above, the back panels don't lock anywhere.

So I'm gonna cancel my order. This toy has to many issues to be $130 toy.

I just have to say, comparing it with the promo TW FL videos, this is way less careful...or gingerly if you will. They purposely held onto both arms when transforming to prevent any wiggles and floppiness. ;)  Time will tell when we can judge better. I'm guessing, 60ish days.
