If the alt-mode is good looking, I might get this over TW's.
The alt mode is looking amazing and goes to shows what an utter failure the TW alt mode is.
The BB Prime war truly begins.

According to source, this will be BMB OP sized.
Utter failure? You can freaking see the entirety of his legs on the back, most of his shoulders in the back, and a protruding head flap on the top of the cab. That’s far worse than just a foot on the back. And then there is the bot mode, good lord is that looking ugly with those tiny MP10 hands and massive chest.
Those proportions are atrocious.
Your hard on for the TW has been duly noted. Now don’t go around crapping this thread for those of us who actually wants a different option. You already didn’t like it during the first reveal, you were never gone give this one a fair chance no matter what.
This one does has a superior alt mode. It is not perfect but at least it is cleaner overall instead of TW attempt where they apparently ran out of budget when it comes to the legs for alt mode.
Heck even the upcoming BMB OS SS38 has a cleaner alt mode than TW.
Let’s face it, TW dropped the ball on the alt mode.
His waist is a bit chunky, but I prefer the alt-mode on this one... not sold overall I have to say, maybe there will be another 3p company that will offer the best of both worlds... in the meantime, I'll keep waiting...
After looking at the alt mode pics, I’m starting to notice a lot of panels and placement of parts seeming to indicate they are doing a very MP10 like transformation...
Maybe one day someone will make one that actually, you know, looks like the truck in the movie:
This is all just my opinion, a few cents to put in.
I respectfully disagree, as much as the Toyworlds alt mode is a let down, I don't believe this one is any "better" just different. Toyworlds has the feet tacked on the back and yeah, that's crappy but it hides its panels better and cleans up more seemlessly without obvious body panels/hinges. This one looks great still don't get me wrong but it doesn't attempt to hide the robot mode shin panels nor the head flap.
Those are perfectly valid criticisms. And like Octo said, the shoulder panels don't blend as well.
Yet this new one hides the feet great and the truck bed rear (the tailgate section) is admittedly nicer coz it's not just...Feet. It's not worth pretending either of these is perfect coz neither is.
I personally think TW alt mode looks better and overall more accurate when you add bot mode accuracy and the movie truck as well, but again it's all just personal preference not some verifiable fact like we're all pretending to have haha.
It's also still just a modded SS figure with plenty of innacurate elements and details in both modes. The truck isn't what was in the movie which to some, kinda matters.
TW is technically closer to it, but yeah, kinda surprised none of them have gone for the actual truck.... probably the rounded windows vs square in robot mode?
I'd like to see an official one at this point.
Let's be real this is potentially one of the best ways to get the best of all worlds. The use of the actual ILM models, licenses and all. Considering SS38 was pretty dang clean, an increased budget could do wonders.
And hey, it could even be inspiration for an even more perfect one way after all the Toyworlds and Fire Scorpions and Black Mamba one's release.
Aside from the MPM-7 Volkswagen Bee, they seem to be going in movie order, ie. doing the whole 2007 cast before moving on to the sequels. I wouldn't mind if they moved this guy to the front of the queue. At least the alt mode would finally be clean and accurate!
This is even bigger than Toyworlds: 32 cm vs 29cm.
Neither are MP-10 size. They are about the sie of Weijiangs MPP-10.
In terms of alt mode, they're both very wrong in so very many ways.
Do a side by side with the shot from the movie and you can pick out so many things wrong with FS - the truck grill is inaccurate, the weird sun-visory thing on top of the cab, lack of roof lights, the cylindrical side tanks are too far back, the windows are too tall.
But then compare the TW and there are also issues - the truck grill is equally inaccurate, the messy folds and gaps on the front bumper, the strange slant along the top of the cab, the exhaust pipes too skinny, the grey stripe too narrow, and of course the feet on the back, and again weirdly shaped windows.
I don't think either one is really close enough to definitively declare an alt mode winner. I do think a super clean and glossy paint-job on ToyWorlds could really help it.
In terms of bot mode, I do think ToyWorld is better. The waist, hips and crotch on the FS one just looks kind of awkward, and the proportions seem a little bit off in multiple places.
There are definitely some wonky proportions going on in those pictures, but I still dig the figure. At this rate, I'm going to need a shelf just for Bumblebee Optimus figures.
Hmmm, in terms of cohesive alt mode this one takes the cake, but I really do like toy worlds overall alt mode design better. Had they just made the legs compress less and basically extended the bed of the truck so that it was thinner from the side and had the back wheels further away from the cab toy world would be golden. As it stands, this one seems to be an ss 38 inspired mold
I would also be okay if a company focused on the robot mode and then cobbled together a genuinely alien seeming altmode, something like war within/stormbringer Optimus would be cool in my opinion
There are things that make me like this one more than Toyworld's. I like the proportions better, the headsculpt is better and the truck is more cohesive. But I think the arms are too short, the hands too small and the shoulders are situated weirdly in comparison to the chest, and that's throwing the proportions off. But if this guy really is even bigger than TW's it's a no from me eiher way.
Also please stop with the "Cybertron mode" thing. Interchangeable wheels for robot mode are fine, but it just looks stupid in vehicle mode.
Looks neat but I think I like TW more, especially the robot mode. Curious about the price though.
