When you consider how much more screen time Rebirth had to work with, the comparison *ought* to be a lot more unfair than it is.

I've never watched Zone. The ending theme I watched keeps me far away from it :lol
If anything I want to watch how Dai Atlas
    slaughters the helpless Decepticons
    . That's all I hear about him.

If you asked me who died, I would've said Predaking and that's it.

According to the TF Wiki, that's not the case. Poor visual storytelling!

Rebirth's story is about a billion times better, more developed, and more coherent than Zone. And despite the fact it introduces about 5x as many new characters, some of them actually get personalities in Rebirth, which again sets it apart from Zone. Also, none of the robots in Rebirth wear capes.

Also, Rebirth really doesn't have that much longer of a run time. If Zone was a half hour, Rebirth was only about 66 minutes.

I thought you were arguing against Zone in favor of Rebirth :p

My thinking goes something like this: Rebirth wastes my time with story ideas I strongly dislike, executed with barely a shred of competence. Zone wastes less of my time with story ideas I do like, but executed with no competence at all. All things considered, if I have to watch either, I'll watch the one that wastes less of my day. I'd rather watch the "Carnival" episode of Armada than either one.

Rebirth also has disturbing Headmaster Daniel/Arcee. I vastly prefer silly capes to that atrocity.

Just say NO to fleshy Headmasters and Targetmasters!

I wouldn't. Armada is the only TF series I label as anguishing to watch (and why it's the bottom of my list). It was so hard for me to watch that it took several tries and a lot of tricks (Such as every 10 episodes I finished, I could buy/open a figure for myself) to get myself through the series.

What made it worse is that there were 52 episodes! At least Zone and Rebirth had the decency to only be one episode and 3, respectively. The only episode of Armada I wouldn't label as torment is "Past". I'd rather watch Zone 51 times then watch the other 51 episodes of Armada ever again.

Also, when I meant that Zone is like Rebirth, I didn't mean it in terms of crappy storytelling, but more in that Rebirth was supposed to lead into a new season of Transformers but didn't and Zone was meant to be the start of a new series, but didn't, so they exist as this highly truncated story that is ultimately pointless.
