Should these movies be pg 13? Some of these bot deaths are really really violent... Especially how megaton and his "buddy" die. In AoE the first lockdown kill made me cringe. At the end, one of the bad guys gets a hemuro gemma special... Yes they are robots and fantasy and we geewuns had bots die and optimus' arm on a tower, but we always knew they would come back and megatron would go scurrying off. Did anyone else feel uncomfortable with the shots cropping Tessa's anatomy? Yes she is attractive and legal lol, but she was supposed to be 17 in that movie. That combined with that whole law section just made me feel creeped out. It just seems like Bay is pushing things more and more with each movie... Guess I should have expected it after seeing DoFP as that movie was pretty crazy too...
Adults want to see these movies and the younger kids want to see these movies. A little bit of everything needs to be in these movies to be attractive to all age groups.
I curse like a sailor but the f bomb kinda pissed me off becuz I think it was forced. Other than that I think you're over analysing the movies. The age of consent for most states is either 16 or 17...so yeah. Personally I think 17 (for girls) is practically an adult.
PG-13 is perfectly fine for these movies. They aren't much different from other action movies with the same rating in terms of "adult" material.
agree the TF movies, especially 3 & 4 are borderline R..if it's humans and not "robots" then they are at the very least R. that is the 1 very cool thing about transformers, and, more specifically; this movie-verse...any bot can die at any time.
Not even close lol. The only thing I can think of that could be even considered borderline was when a certain someone got fried in AOE haha
The only time she felt even remotely sexualized to me was when Shane talked about how well she handled the stick shift, and even then, that was just played for laughs. It wasn't like having Megan Fox on top of a motorcycle.
