Well after re-watching Prime I've realized a discrepancy: Not all the Transformers have identical number of fingers. For one, Megatron has the standard five like us humans, whereas Bumblebee has four. I haven't looked closely at the other TFs yet, but there's certainly a difference. What do you think?
Well it's kinda mentioned in this topic: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-prime-discussion/456736-optimus-primes-hands.html. Just a bit of variation added by the designers I guess.
Yeah, it's kinda how everyone has different eyes as well. Personally, I like it, makes the character designs more unique. Optimus has weirdass fingers though.
I like it. They're tiny details that remind us of how alien they are without being too "out there" as to make people whine about GRRR BAYFORMERS.
Actually, it's funny that you mention this, since when I first read the opening post, I thought about how the Bayverse TFs love to have different numbers of fingers on their hands (Jazz with four, Arcee with three, etc)
its not just the number of fingers that trips me out but how different they all are Bumblebee and Optimus have flat hinged fingers where as Bulkhead and Ratchet have more normal circular fingers
I just noticed that Optimus' hands were crushed by a steam roller. And that is why trucks suck fighting the constructicons.(see G1 Episode : The one where the constructicons pwn optimus and turn his parts into parts of a city thing)
