Well looks like Pixar has decided to do another sequel. Not sure if they considered Brave to be highly successful so maybe they are going to play it safe with more sequels/prequels? Andrew Stanton to Direct FINDING NEMO 2 I liked Finding Nemo so I'm interested to see what kind of story they decide to use since they can't really find Nemo again (or maybe they could?). I'm sure there will be comments on "hey why not Incredibles 2!?!?" I would love to have a sequel and last I read Brad Bird wants to have a great story to go with it.
Oh this. This so much. If they make a sequel, why not Incredibles? I never liked that film, but even I can agree that it had the best potential for a sequel
well Brad Bird said once that he will make a sequel if he can think of a plot better than the first film
actually i myself i am happy of this, cause i get to see the characters i know and i grew to like for years, for a second time, (i also was more excited for the sequels pixar were doing than their original films, (but i am still seeign brave and such))
Agreed. So what is it going to be...Finding Marlin or Finding Nemo's Son? I hope Nemo isn't missing again?
we'll see. back when disney ahd the rights of doing Pixar sequels in 2005-2006 (before they bought pixar), their version of nemo 2 was about nemo finding marlin
...So am I the only one concerned that Pixar's just flat-out doing prequels and sequels instead of new and original stories now? I mean, an Incredibles 2 would be nice, but Finding Nemo 2? Really Pixar?
Half of me wonders if it will be any good and is kind of afraid..... The other half is excited. I love Finding Nemo. It's my favorite of the Pixar films. I think I'm in the minority here with The Incredibles. I watched it once, and I just really didn't get into it.
Finding Nemo 2: The Search for Dory's Family, with special guests Ellen Degeneris' life partner as a voice and maybe her mother and father too. Quite frankly I don't see how this could ever work, despite my humorous little tagline up above, Pixar is rapidly turning into what Disney was back during the DTDVD Sequels days. What's next? Up 2, Carl's Deathbed? Wall-E 2: The Shock-Exchange (Or some odd outlandish title.) A Bug's Life 2: Heimlich Died because his Voice Actor Passed Away? Cars 3: Holly Shiftwell and Mater have Kids. Toy Story 5: We Skipped 4 so We Could Tell You Another College Story Or Al's Revenge. Endless Sequels for Pixar Movies are Not Necessary! If Cars 2's little hitch at the box office prooved anything it was that nobody wants sequels to movies that don't need them.
