Yeah, I agree, it should be figures not boxes
On the road, so early-esk challenge... For Ted, it has a window.
Unite Warriors Grand Galvatron - combined is fine, but all members must be present.
open them toys
I'm on the road so much now that I drive truck, I have no time... Even contemplating quiting the hobby.
Driving, that is.
I actually really want that set... I think I might be on the lookout for it at conventions this year. Yeah. Death robot.
I know someone else has it, but I think it's somebody in an oversea timezone, which means it'll probably get countered while I'm sleeping.
Or I could just stay up longer and play more Titanfall...
I have it, but not all in one place, so in an hour or two I may be able to get pictures
Oh good, I've been meaning to try out a complicated glass shot, and the Grand Galvatron set provides the perfect opportunity:
How very thoughtful.
Seriously, though, I'm certainly not the first to bring up the box issue, and it's not for my sake at all; I don't need to see pics of figures I already own.
The rule is meant for the benefit of the majority, who don't have the figures being played. Everyone who follows this thread is hoping for the chance to play, but most have to wait an interminably long time for it...
The best we can do for them is to provide information and entertainment while they patiently wait. It's all about the presentation, see. We're all action figure collectors and Transformers fans, and we come here to see the toys!
Now, there's nothing in the rules that says you have to show the figure in every mode, or provide commentary on the challenges you post, but I do so because I want to continue to attract visitors to the thread. After all, we need a regular influx of new players to keep things interesting...
...and posting and re-posting the same pic of that gawdawful Impossible Toys packaging isn't keeping things interesting.
Anyway, here's Movie the Best MB-06, Ratchet:
Finally, the best Ratchet mold gets the best Ratchet deco.
Funny how green he photographs under studio lighting, but how yellow he looks in the sunlight...
The IT tetras are packed away so deep I couldn't even begin to start the hunt to alter my plays with them now... But on the bright side, you only have to see that pic 3 more times.
And 3 more suntorys.
Never figured Ratchet to have a wild side. I see that inner thigh tattoo!
Well, speaking only for myself, of course, your pics generally provide me with regret and green-blooded envy, especially on that Grand Galvatron set that I really wanted to buy when it came out but I either didn't have the money or there was something else coming out that I wanted even more... but man, that Grand Galvatron set... I'm gonna pay through the nose for that one day, aren't I?
I paid under 200 shipped on Amazon, from Japan.
Deals are out there.
You should've stuck to arguing the point on principle, 'cause that's a terrible excuse for re-posting the same pic...!
'Fraid not, my friend. This game is a democracy, and clearly the majority favors the "challenge must be visible" rule.
If you want to play any more Tetrajets, you're gonna have to show 'em to us.
Well, there's no stopping you there.
Anyway, I'm disappointed nobody else has the new Ratchet. I think he's great.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Movie the Best MB-08:
Robot mode kinda sucks, but that's kinda what you expect from a movie Starscream.
Jet mode fares better, at least from the front...
...but that robot mode kibble on the back end is unforgivable.
At least he looks appropriate next to Movie the Best Megatron (who is similarly proportionally-challenged).
I've only got the DOTM version.
You may call the back end unforgivable, but i call it
I'm not sure if I can get behind a No-MISB rule. While I agree that looking at pictures of boxes is pretty blah, I don't feel like we should exclude people based on the way they manage their collections.
Well, it's not a 'no MISB' rule - it's a 'show the other players the figure' rule. I.e., showing it through a plastic window would be fine.
Majority of folks siding with your exposed argument are fairly noobs to the game... While such players as Padre and Kit side with me.
I will not be adhering to your "opening" demand on certain figures, it's my prerogative and my choice on what I play as a challenge, and how I play it.
Edit: the dingo has spoken.
That still excludes boxers from playing a lot of MP/3P figures.
Sorry, but that's a non-argument.
Exactly what started tekerings demand for change... Exclusion, or submission to open misb's for him... This is a game of gents' that wins nothing in the end.
Lmao @ this.
