Ehhhh... You're thinking of this guy.
That's not Dracula, that's a third-party KO from Germany.
Lolz! The FIRST KO...
So, ima be on the road for the next couple of hours, so how about this little guy: I don't even remember who made it, but its a REALLY early third party powerglide.
His arms and legs were originally bone white.
And since I can't remember who made it; if y'all want a different challenge, lemme know!
X-transbots powerglide is the original
Dang! Thank you sir! That's it!!
Mine's fallen into Decepticon hands...
Actually, no. The original design was a licensed third-party Powerglide from Jizai Toys:
It was one of those typically Japanese one-day licenses Takara offers for event-exclusives, this one for Winter Wonderfest 2008.
X-Transbots, like so many other Chinese third-parties, started out as a KO manufacturer. Their first two releases (before the X-Transbots branding, even) were both Jizai knock-offs:
Later, using the X-Transbots branding, they re-released their KO as "Glider."
They weren't the only ones, either... Eagle's TF also produced a Jizai knock-off.
Jizai's design was the definitive Masterpiece Powerglide for nearly a decade, until DX9 produced "Richthofen..."
...which was soon KO'd itself by AOD.
Anyway, I'm not here to talk about Powerglide, but his captor.
Again, Mastermind Creations' Ocular Max line has knocked another Combaticon out of the park.
This is Perfection Series PS-14, "Incursus."
Someone finally designed Onslaught's backpack so that he could have shoulder cannons!
Retractable, articulated shoulder cannons at that.
Oh yeah... My bad. I also remember that Jizai did a cyclonus and a wheelie. He has kept designing cool stuff like an Empire State Building robot and a crucified Jesus transformer. But now it seems that his designs are once again being picked up by other companies which is very good.
so, unlike Tom Hank’s character in Big, he gets it
Yeah but unfortunately as far as I know the weird stuff hasn’t been released
Which is a shame, cuz I love ill advised and stupid alt modes
Jesus transforms into Holy Crusadicon
I remember that wheelie and it sUUUUUUcked... It was mostly die cast and heavy as hell and looked horrible.
I have that Art Of Deformation powerglide. Its really nice!
I want to buy that SOOOOOOO bad!!
Pretty sure those never saw the light of day either
Well there’s at least newage ironhide. Hopefully they did buy Jizai's design and not pirate it.
Today's challenge is an object lesson in the relativistic nature of size.
Super Collection Figure Metroflex [sic], like most of Hasbro's Marvel Legends BAF figures, was too big to package and sell along with the other figures in Takara's SCF line.
Instead, the Titan had to be assembled from parts packaged with a variety of other blind-boxed figures, making it quite a challenge to collect all the parts necessary to put the big guy together...
..."big" being a relative term unrelated to issues of scale, of course.
Is that mp10, mmp10 or lewin mp10 though?
Has to be the Lewin. Check the cab's clearance lights.
Also, mmp10 is literally a knockoff (downgrade) where mpp10 is the upscale improved version of mp10.
Mmp10 = plastic, even the wheels.
Mpp10 = diecast, Rubber tires, etc.
Ah, but what about Mpm10?
So, I had no interest in a Siege Reflector...
Refukoff. That's just stupid.
But then they announced the "Reconnaissance Team 3-Pack," featuring three unique G1 characters that hadn't been seen in over 30 years...!
Couldn't pass that up.
Here's War For Cybertron: Siege Spectro.
Welcome back, you handsome devil.
