If one of the ko companies made a masterpiece slicer from the wheeljack mold, would you consider it a unique challenge, or feel any mp wheeljack mold could counter it?

As for the current challenge... Grrr, where the hell is that box with all my cobstructbots?!?

 

See if it was a different character, Slicer/Wheeljack. then no. That would make it a unique character.

The case with the mpp10, it's a over/undersized KO of the authentic MP10. The crystal version goes a little further because there is no official representation, so admittedly it teeters a fine edge. However it's still a KO design with not much more being unique other than the color palette, ala translucent.

 

Quick example. None of these can substitute for the other. Nothing different other than paint, but all different characters

But I am only collecting Generations, Classics, Alternators, Binaltech, and Prime Wars trilogy stuff.

I always thought that was a weird crossover... then I saw all the Eva-Godzilla stuff they put out when Shin Gojira came out.

Ted himself does not make the rules (as you were quick to point out yesterday...) and, while that does accurately reflect my personal opinion on the matter, others felt it was too subjective. This game only works if we all agree, so the rule was re-drafted accordingly.

Honestly, I thought we'd come to a consensus, and that had settled the issue once-and-for-all.
Is the matter still open to debate?

No, Convoy Mode EVA is still weirder.  

 

I would agree, but there's one where they paint Godzilla in EVA-01's colors. Not MECHAgodzilla, the Big G himself. Makes him look like an edgy reboot of Barney.
