I've been wanting to do this for some time. I actually bought two so I could have them to compare for before and after. The mold actually has almost all of the detail the show does but Hasbro seems to go out of their way to ruin a decent figure. I plan on getting a gun upgrade from Zenith Forge. Hate their head though. I think I'm going to change the head from one of the earlier Transformer Prime Voyagers. Anybody know of any other upgrade kits or a good material to make a facemask. I designed one. When I printed it, it was too small to get good quality. Thanks for looking!

This looks really good. I hope to one day have the time and energy to put in one of these.

That looks pretty bad ass. Similar paint work I did on mine.

Its too bad the Leader class version came with that goofy dragon motif on the back versus the wings.

For the face mask, I just cut a tiny tiny piece of notebook plastic and scored it so it would bend/crease in the middle, but its so little you need tweezers to really get it to set in place without gluing up the area and your fingers.

You know you can take his blasters and they attach in the back mimicking the the rocket boosters from the show?

Thanks for the compliments and help. You guys do some good work and good ideas. I'm definitely going to try the faceplate idea. Thanks!

Nice work! Definitely like what you've done. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Solrac, thanks for pointing out that tutorial. (I have this same figure waiting to be used for a Nova Prime and was contemplating adding a facemask. So that was a nice help.)

It's very simple to do and you can keep fitting it until you get the right look before you glue it.

    I
Thanks. I used Tamiya paints. Just the basic reds and blues, chrome, brass and gunmetal.
