To anyone that has Exgraver. Have you attached him to an energon combiner? How does the joint feel there? It won't give us insight on the knees but it will tell us abotu the arms and the connectors in general.

It connects well. The only issue I have with mine is trying to pull Exgraver off. Hopefully it wont be as tight when he's connected to TFC Hook.

 

You know, after seeing how FR devastator was built, I have even more respect for the TFC team. FRs is beyond a parts former. I mean the thing is a super parts former. For TFC to accomplish the same look if not better without Parts forming is a feat in itself.

 

i have the ptitvite build. i'm not happy with the constructicons. the fact that TFC has EVERYTHING right on, constructicons, vehicle and combiner, is extremely impressive. although, this is too tiny for what i'm actually paying. still have gripes about the size overall i'm happy regarding the purchase.

btw initially, the ptitvite devastator was not a partsformer. not as much. here's the original build.

Amazing final combination and so happy I'm paying for this.... plus waking up and playing catchup on this thread. it's a lot more productive with certain people on the ignore list.

 

Im loving Herc so far. Im hoping to somehow get Giant as well but use it just for the individual bots so I can have devy and the constructicons.

That original also looked bad ass. The individual figures weren't perfect, but still all very nice.

 

Well, I have that same non-descript dark gray/black background and it's 46" in height, so after you figure in angle refractatory glare from the lens of the camera to Herc, I'd say he is about 2.12 Pen lengths tall.

 

Wasn't he confirmed at 13" no more than 14"?

 

I hope if TFC does do some other combiners they go with the voyagerish for the main body and DLXish for the limbs, keep the team members at about the same size they are shown at in most media. The predacons should of course be different each being up a size point.

See, I have no problems on him being 13-14 inches. Any taller and he is not fitting in the Detolf case unless I do modifications to the case.

 

Now that i've seen it completed I can officially say I don't want it at all. The maketoys one looks way better

 

I don't know: apples to oranges to me. When our fellow Radicons first created their own they weren't engineering brand new figures, but modifying existing product to merge together. TFC no doubt has done an incredible job here, but I'd be willing to bet some of our guys could come up with something like Herc with the same circumstances, time, budget, etc.
