Final Fantasy IV Sequel?? WTF?

    When was this announced? I just heard that it came out the other day on Wii Ware. Anyone tried it? Is it any good? FFIV is my fav game in the series so this might be one more reason why I might buy a wii (this and zelda, the new metroid game, etc.) .

    Well, I haven't tried it yet, and even though FFIV is one of my favorite games, I'm not sure I will. For the most part, anyone involved in the original FFIV are gone, at least not with SE, so it's hard for me to consider this an actual sequel at all.

    ill be getting it after work...i'll post my thoughts of it. Should be at least good enough, it sold a lot in Japan.

    Yeah I've been extremely curious about this. I loved IV. I want to see what Rydia is up to, hehehe. I wonder if it's Wii exclusive.

    Overall IV is praised quite highly in Japan so a direct sequel is no surprise at all. I mean "Theme of Love" song from IV is taught in school to kids to play on recorders after all.

    Well I got it and played a little bit before going out to watch the hockey game. So far it looks very promising but i'm worried this moon phase system is going to get annoying.
