Now that this IGN: E3 2009: Final Fantasy XIV - What We Know posted, we have a lot more info on the game so the game has matured from an announcement at E3 to one that might warrant its own thread.
Nintendo Wii "Dog Attack" by JunkyFM this is what happens when the gaming gods want you to fail....twice
FFVII had a lot of factions within it, plenty of stuff to have "realms", as it were, that people are super familiar with and would be all "FUCK YEAH!" about.
I didn't buy the online FF one the PS2 I don't see me picking this one either. I am getting 13 on day one though.
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I see what you are saying. Yeah, but if Square made an MMOR about FF7 it might make the company a lot of money, and they wouldn't want that, would that. Kinda like Sega releasing a new Single Player Phantasy Star. People might buy it and put food on the employee's tables.
yeah I played the demo for FF11... and it really must have been the most boring 10 days of my life. It was even worse than Guild Wars... I really don't see a purchase in the future for this..

I put time into 11. It was a blast with the right people, and having a summoner and having Shiva follow you around was awesome, but lenghty party searches and enormously long quests made me lose interest. I think my next MMOR is DC Universe... We're starting a Lantern Corp
I'll keep an ear to the ground for this one, but the MMO I am more interested in is The Old Republic.
I would be 100000000000X10E4 times more interested if there was another Star Wars MMOR and then Old Republic was a single player sequel, since Bio is so badass at making these games.
Yeah, but so was Dragon Age when they announced it. I thought it was coming out for the Turbo Grafx...
I would LOVE to hear one of those companies giving some love to an old console, just for st*ts N grins. would ROCK
