Normally the first thing I do when I get a new figure, is transform them once to vehicle mode, than back to bot mode for display. Some figures I just transform for fun, but the ones I refuse to touch...

ROTF Leader Optimus: I haven't transformed him once...
DOTM Leader Sentinel: Did so once, couldn't make it work, put him back in bot
ROTF Leader Megatron: I have no reason to put him in alt mode
ROTF Leader Jetfire: Did once, even combined with Optimus, and that was it
MP Rodimus(TRU): I bought one and transformed him to car, I didn't even want to change him back to bot mode. So, I went out and bought another Rodimus for bot mode.
MP Megatron: I may have transformed him twice, but I won't change him from bot mode ever again
Some Alt/binaltech figs I just don't because they don't like staying together.

I wouldn't even say I am afraid to transform too many figures besides MP figs.

My custom figures. I'm afraid to scratch the paint or break them.

G1 Twin Twist. From my experience with them, sometimes it takes at least 10 minutes to transform them back and most just get stuck permanently in one form or the other

Most of the MP line, save for the seeker mold.

Yes. I don't touch my MP figures all that much. And I'll only transform them to robot mode, which is why I'm comfortable doing the seekers since most of them come packaged in vehicle mode.

I don't transform the majority of my Beast Wars or Movie figures. Some of them feel like they can break easily. I especially am wary of touching Transmetal Megatron, but so far he hasn't broken anything (yet)

I also don't transform my Megabolt, which I read has GPS problems on it to some degree which I don't entirely understand, but since I keep it in BFH form 24/7 I hopefully will never run into that problem.

Have you tried to Jimmy the catch with a piece of sturdy card? you can usually forgo the Jumpstarters' signature autotransformation gimmick by pushing the catch lever back. Unless its from Robot to alt mode where the lever isn't catching, then you just keep pushing the catch down till it wont rev anymore and transform like normal.

I thought this was a joke, kinda like saying you don't transform your robot heroes or action masters.

My Swindle has that same problem, but it's not much of a problem; the pins stay in place enough to hold his shoulders in the proper position, so he's still fully functional transformation-wise. At any rate, once I get any other version of Bruticus, the SDCC one is going back in the box to go on not-quite-MIB display.

    Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron.

Back when I first started collecting, I busted my old TM Megatron out of the attic. Then I tried to transform him. He basically crumbled to dust in my hands. I have since put him back together (although he's almost more glue than bot now), and I've bought a new Megatron to replace him... but I will NEVER transform that one. Ever.

He's just going to sit on my shelf in Dino-mode forever.

Also, I wasn't aware that Armada Optimus Prime suffered from GPS in his arms. I bought one, new in the box, and tried to transform him, and his arm snapped right off. I've bought a replacement arm for him since then, but every time I transform him, it's a bit of a nail-biter.
