Figures you were inspired to buy 'cos of the WTF@TFW podcast?

    Just a random thing that popped in my head. Like so far I could name PCC Heavytread, especially the way they described how he must have come up with the gun mode for his Mini-con partner... that one just cracked me up. And he's not a bad figure at all, just need to buy the 5-pack with the military equipment so he wouldn't look totally off in the combined form...

    Mostly non-Transformer things. But Yoda is a TF I can name off the top of my head.

    None. I think Bugmen are too silly for my money, and 3A toys look like ass-faced plagiarism.

    Much as I enjoy the show I have to say it has had no effect on me buying or not buying a figure. Im not a fan of a certain host's desire to try to influence others purchases either. It doesn't help that none of their non TF purchases interest me. I don't mind it the discussion it just doesnt make me spend money

    I've got 3 WWRp figures (one more on the way) thanks to Seth, but I can't think of anything else they've talked me into that I wouldn't have otherwise gotten.

    Preorder 66 however... got me into 1/6th figures. So far I've got War Machine and one of the Panzer Cops, plus a 1/4 War Machine bust. Going for the full Avengers line up and a hall of armor in 1/6 now.

    Believe it or not, they got me into Busou Shinki. In an old episode where one of them (can't remember who) got Figma Drossel, they discussed Busou Shinki and how creepy they were. I was curious and did some research. I ended up in the Funnies forum and decided that these things were pretty cool, despite what the podcasters thought. I now own 7 of them with #8 on the way.

    As for the actual TF content, I use their discussions as a part of my decision making process, but not the SOLE reason to buy or not buy. If I'm on the fence, I'll check out the feedback thread, find images, and go through the YouTube reviews, besides listening to the podcast.

    Off the top of my head: HFTD Terradive, PCC's in general(mainly the 2 packs), and Cyberfire BB(haven't found him though). They have convinced me into not buying some like Leader Ironhide.

    Seth talking about marvel universe helped me down that slippery slope. Other than that I can't think of any. As far as transformers go, I normally buy at least one of each mold.
