For me it has to be my Armada Hot Shot, and anything RID/Car Robots. :)

What about you guys? What certain figures make you remember the simpler times?

Movie Leader Optimus Prime. Absolutely couldn't wait to buy it with my pocket money and was ecstatic when my Grandma gave me the final £10 I needed on a camping trip. Back then it seemed like the true epitome of how accurate the movie toys could possibly be.

Despite Buster Optimus being my favourite ever TF, I've still kept the original and it's still a great toy.

And on that note... I'll always remember walking back from the post office with Buster OP, and then unpackaging it at home, its chrome gleaming in the summer sun of the best year of my life.

Every Botcon exclusive from 2011 & 2013. They remind me of how much fun I had at the convention and how special those memories are to me.

DOTM Voyager Optimus Prime, got him at my first botcon in 2011 so he holds a special place in my DOTM collection.

    G1 Megatron
    G1 cassettes (R, R, F, LB, BS)

These were ones that I really wanted when I was a kid, but didn't get for a long time. So I spent a lot of time looking at pictures of them, dreaming of all the (mis)adventures they would have, if I had them.

Now looking at them on the shelf is very reminiscent of that, only with the benefit of actually having them there.

G1 Seaspray gets me as well (1st tf) but so does g1 op (Xmas present 85) as does g1 jetfire and g1 wheeljack (always wanted them, my best friend had them so takes me back to playing with them at his house)

Soundwave was my first Transformer, and I loved him and Buzzsaw for a long time before I got Rumble, Ravage , Frenzy, and Ratbat (never had Laserbeak as a kid). I played with him a lot...

I also loved Metroplex, Defensor, Trypticon, and PM Optimus Prime. I loved all of my Transformers as a kid.. But those were my favorites.

G2 Hubcap. I was about 8 years old. And I totally hit my own personal fandom of Transformers, I was alive and aware of G1, but then it was more on my brother's tail when it came to "what I was supposed to like."

By the time G2 came around, it was my time to get excited over them. Hubcap was the first figure I can say i wanted for myself.

2nd is Optimal Optimus. I told myself I only wanted to get him and Megatron only. But dammit Beast Wars was so good. I was like 12-13 I admit at that age I was embarrassed to be buying toys, not so much now @ 32.

G1 Cliffjumper and G1 Bluestreak, they were the first two Transformers I got and they were played with the most until I got G1 Jetfire.

Armada Tidal Wave, Overload, Megatron, Jetfire, and both Bendy and Leader Primes. I only had Bendy as a kid, but they all remind me how Hasbro used to to simple Transformations.

It's so interesting to see the difference between the generations of fans - it's so encouraging, for some that have had armada as their first experience just wow - it would be interesting to see if this lead you to discover or collect g1?

G1 Soundwave... My first TF, grabbed off an endcap at Kiddie City while visiting my dad...

Got it home, played with him and almost immediately broke the canon off one of Buzzsaw's backpack things...

A few weeks later, after my brother and I came home, my mom had a big bag from Sears... After we got pajamas on, she reached in and handed my brother a G1 Prime and me a G1 Megatron, gifts from the grandparents...
