I know the year isn't over yet, but I figured I'd start this thread anyways.

    My favorites:

    Overall FOTY: Hasbro MP Prowl.

    Best Voyager: Rhinox.

    Best Deluxe: Rattrap.

    Best Commander/legends: Swerve.

    Anyone else?

    Ebay:
Overall FOTY: Evasion Prime (I don't count MP Prowl because the mold is not new)

Best Voyager: Evasion Prime (Runner up is Rhinox)

Best Deluxe: Lost Ages Dispensor (I've been waiting 7 years for this)

Best Commander/legends: I wasn't really impressed by any so far, unfortunately :(

Best Archetype: AOE Dinobots have all been really good, and they all look even better when displayed as a team.

Hmmm...admittedly, I haven't bought many Transformers in 2014. So I know some of my choices may raise an eyebrow or two.

Legends: Skrapnel w/ Reflector (though just as often I'd say Swerve and Flanker - this size class is knocking it out of the park!)
Deluxe: Skids (though he's only up against Scoop)
Voyager: Whirl (the only Voyager I've bought this year so far, but I really like him)

I'm not planning on getting any of the Leader class figures, so that's out.

Overall: I'm going to cop out and say that I'm going to wait until year's end to decide this. Everything I've bought so far I've been quite happy with, but there still is plenty left that could end up standing out. We'll have to wait and see.

    For me -
    Scout: Cosmos
Best. Cosmos. Ever. Also, as someone who owned the Air Patrol growing up, I can't get enough of these homages.

    Deluxe: Scoop
Maybe not the most technically accomplished toy, but I love that it's so different.

    Voyager: Brainstorm

Okay, okay, Rhinox wins by default until Brainstorm comes out.

...Hmm. Can you tell I grew up in the Headmaster/Targetmaster/Micromaster era?

Evasion mode Optimus Prime is a great figure. He is simplistic and complex at the same time. Best movie voyager Optimus I feel we have received. Movie 1 Prime was a little too simple, while battle blades Optimus was a little too complex. Plus AoE Evasion Prime has a G1 look to him. I'd say he should be in the running.

MP Grimlock, I know it's not a new release, but it is to me and it's great.

Is Arcee coming out this year or next year?

If this year, then I'll have to vote for Arcee. She's 28 years overdue.

AOE Scorn for me (due to the fact he's the only figure I bought from this year)

Warden/Guardian. Followed by Trashtalk/Cogwheel. Then Revolver. Then Clompy-Oh. Then about 20 other third party bits.

Legends Cosmos is Hastak's best, brightest and almost only offering as, as far as I care almost every Hastak figure mentioned so far I got last year. Scoop is runner up in the official world. Then Rattrap. Then Leader Jetfire for the Plane.

    And that's it.

MP Wheeljack may well give Warden a run for his considerable money. Hopefully. At this rate Bee and Magnus are likely to be disappointing me next year not this.

Also hopeful Brainstorm, Arcee and that Megatron come in this year to help out the official side of the house. It needs the help right now.

These threads remind me of how little of the product I'm buying right now.

Favourite mainline TF - Generations Rhinox

    Favourite third party - Scoria

But neither are world beaters and haven't had much competition.

    Legends- Cosmos
    Deluxe- Rattrap, followed by scoop
    Voyager-evasion Optimus Prime
    Leader- AoE Grimlock
MP- Silverstreak (it's not a new mold, but it is fantastically done. Took the spot as my favorite out of the four datsuns).

FOTY... I'll wait until the year ends, as a lot of cool things are coming out soon. So far though, it might be MP-18s. I need to go review my purchases for the year!

I don't know how you guys are picking Cosmos over Swerve. He's the most fun I've had with a Transformer since I was a kid. Best of the year -- hands down.

    voyager - evasion op
    deluxe - aoe drift
