(Haven't found a figure misassembled thread yet so tell me if there is already one)
Ever had a figure with parts in the wrong place or two of the same parts, answer some experiences you've had.
Some of my experiences include Combiner wars Deadend (two left hands) and Potp Rippersnapper (two left legs).

 

I have one of those misassembled Masterpiece Ramjets from BBTS (they were selling them for 40 bucks IIRC) with backwards shoulder hinge parts. Apparently that was a common enough issue that BBTS (at the time) had a separate listing for the missassembled ones vs. the correctly assembled ones lol.

 

I got a POTP Swoop with two left hands.

 

(I sold it) My T30 Starscream had a backward left elbow.

 

Didn’t happen to me personally but I remember potp prime (both colors) had 2 left legs in pax mode.

 

Does Rusting MIB Ss ironhide count. Or Mp masterpiece Ironhide who was missing every single pin count?

 

My UW Roller had 2 left shoulder, took me far to long to notice, my fix was to swap the shoulders from an extra hound I had, basically works.

 

$40 for an error I can fix, it was impossible to resist... I have yet to correct it.

 

My cw devastator came with a missing pin where longhauls leg combines with mixmaster

 

Same lol, to be honest i never even opened the box yet. I'll get around to it someday haha.

 

No time like the present.

 

Studio Series Rampage had the center torso part put in backwards (common issue), PoTP Throne of the Prime Primal had two left thighs so he cant transform properly, TR Nautica had a tab put on backwards so it wouldn't fit together in vehicle mode.

 

Anyone have pics of these?

There are definitely more, I’ll add as I recall them. misassembly is usually harder for me to remember, cuz I fix them, I do tend to remember when they can’t be fixed oob like these though

 

My first Universe 2.0 Sideswipe had two left ankles.

The Seawing in my Seacons reissue set had a pin shot through his arm crooked.

My Universe 2.0 Springer (that came with Ratbat) had the pin in his head/neck shout through crooked. Had to remove it and glue his head on. He also has two left thighs.

Cybertron Ransack GTS had his head pinned on crooked. (Notice a pattern?) He’s fixed now.

My Takara Legends Sonic Bomber came with two right hands.

Prime Dreadwing has two left feet.

The TF Crossfire Aerial Appendage set I bought had a couple wrong parts. The quarter-round ankle pieces don’t clip together because I have four male-ended pieces instead of two make and two female.

I used to have pics of my missing pin devastator on my google plus before it shut down im too lazy to move all my figures and get a pic of it

 

The smaller robot on my POTP Nemesis Prime came with two right legs.

It was sold out and Amazon told me to just keep it and they refunded me the 49.99.

I re-ordered it when it came back in stock like a few days later and the second copy was fine.

In 2015, I bought a MP-24 Star Saber. Saber came with two left arms.



HLJ returned me the total cost of the figure, including the shipping cost to return the figure to Japan. Good service.

 

My first MPM Megatron had one of his hip kibble pieces glued solid, which I didn’t notice until I turned it 180’. It’s a ball joint so I have no idea why it was glued. The one I exchanged it for has his head spike glued solid. I’m not fucking with it.

Seige Six-Gun had his hip over glued, but I was able to free it. Common issue apparently.

Got two identical hip pieces on my Iron Factory Vos, affecting nothing.

Iron Factory Miko had a backwards wing, but I was able to push the pin out and fix it.

Weirdest one is that my Masterpiece Clampdown has a Sideswipe head, instead of a black Red Alert head. He was preordered from BBTS so he’s not a KO. I know that there were a couple others besides mine, but just a handful. I’ll repurpose him as a different guy once I have a proper one.
