The text is a bit hard to read but I believe this might be showing us how Starscream will compare to Megatron, height-wise. He'll be pretty small if that's the case.

 

I just compared it to my MP Megatron and it seems the new MP Starscream will be the same height as MP11.

 

I wish ER Thundercracker’s colors actually looked like that.

Not much new here. Just more faceless Starscream. Btw why do people call him V2.0 MP? I thought MP11 was V2.0 of Starscream, even if it was a remold, it was a very significant remold. This is more like V3.0.

 

I see I'm not alone in this mindset.

 

MP11 was remolded to more closely resemble the original MP3 prototype. MP3 originally got reworked by the Macross designer to have a more accurate jet mode after the initial reveal.

With this new Starscream being a completely new mold, it was dubbed 2.0 by TakaraTomy.

 

In software development, where that numbering system is most popular, decimal numbers represent revisions to a previous version, while whole number revisions represent a whole new version/major content addition.

MP-11 is a "1.5" revision since it still borrows a lot of the tooling from the previous MP-03 tooling. This new figure is version 2.0 because it's all-new.

 

I still find it funny how after more than a year of butthurt of how both WFC Skywarps are exclusives, heres Takara offering both at the same time.

 

When should we be expecting Wave 3 proper?

 

...at double the price of US retail, so in other words scalper prices.

It's not that this stuff is completely impossible to find, it's that it's impossible to find for the price mainline toys should cost. I bit the bullet and got the 2-pack for $90 a while ago (still MISB) and then found one in-store yesterday that I opened. I'm not upset for what I paid to make sure I had the characters -- after all, Takara prices -- but it's hard to make the argument that mold is really worth $45 or $50.

 

Did I just hear someone screaming for some ice cream?

I love how the photo for Starscream says, "CONFIDENTIAL" in big, red print... But the photos are public.  

 

It gives people the opportunity to feel really important because they have something "that's not supposed to be out there"  

 

Not finished enough for me to tell if I like it or not.
