Seconded. He comes with a LOT of extras not included in the basic version.
Yeah, for $10 you get another figure's worth of accessories.
Got Phoenix Wright yesterday. His skin is really pale and looks weird, but he's a nice figure overall. I didn't realize at first that his hips are on a peg that can be extended out of the waist so you can get him in poses that are normally hindered by his suit jacket, thought I broke him because it gets really loose when you do extend it. Only real complaint is that his speech bubbles aren't hard plastic and with peg ports on the back like Medicos does with their SAS figures, but a small piece of putty holds them well enough.
Indeed he does.
Plenty of extra stuff which made me pick this figure up myself.
I found an even cheaper listing on Amazon with Prime shipping. I hope it isn't a bootleg. There were so many of them on eBay.
I got TP Link (DX) and TP Zelda in yesterday. Lost interest in the figures.... like after I preordered them in October aha
Opened them up anyways and I like what they did with the shoulder joints.
SS Link didn't have this issue for me, but the sword and shield combo on the back is a bit annoying when done on TP Link. The large hand gets in the way which keeps the peg on the sheath from being plugged in all the way. So it sits there kind of loose.
Did a couple face/head swaps shown below.... or did I? Obvious with the peg hole on Zelda's forehead on Link's body.
Gave my nephew my ALBW Link that I had laying around. It was still sealed. Ended up ordering a DX Link to replace it. I thought I'd be fine with owning standard Links with the Hylian shield and Master Sword being the only accessories for each figure. Since I already got one DX/EX, I might as well get the other. I don't even care for the ALBW accessories, but I guess some variety would be nice in my Zelda shelf.
I was told Dark Souls/Bloodborne Figma were on the way?
Nice! I can't wait to get mine.
Is Skyward or LBW the better Link to get? I don't really care for the more realistic TP Link, and I haven't played the game yet besides. LBW and Skyward are some of my favorite Zelda games, so I'm open to either.
ALBW Link (EX) arrived from Amazon. It arrived tissue wrapped... inspected the figure... authentic.
I don't think you can go wrong with either.
If size of the figure isn't a bother and only looking at the standard releases, I'd say the only thing that SS Link can do that ALBW can't is store the sword and shield on his back. You never see ALBW/LTTP Link store his shield and sword on the back in the game, so that make sense for the figure not to either. SS Link also has a slash effect and ALBW only has the flat painting thing.
I didn't realize little Link couldn't wear the shield and sword on his back.
I forgot to mention that theres no sheath for the Master Sword.
Yeah, that's because there is no sheath in the game. Link always carries the sword in his hand or it just goes into that magical invisible item box that weapons always go to in those games.
I had to check to confirm and yep, no sheath in game and no sheath in art.
So from what my research has found;
- Can be displayed with all his accessories
- a lot more toy for the price
- fragility issues with the sword?
- some articulation limitations
- chainmail is plain silver
- a lot more accessories
- very small
Despite the size I'm kind of leaning towards the ALBW version, just something about the face. The 0 to 60 options for Skyward Link's face is kind of odd.
Always love the Figma LoZ's. Hope they make Ganondorf and Epona. They can pretty much make anything from LoZ and I'll buy it.
What about an OoT "Death by Coocoo" figure?
Gannondorf in Drag?
Oh, wait, that's Twilight Princess final boss, phase one isn't it?
nice, both my zelda and link are "awaiting fulfillment" still
also, where did you get that Zelda figure from and what scale is it?
Separate names with a comma.
