This will be my Deadpool. I like it *way* better than the ML, Hasbro, or Mezco and those all seem like solid figures. It just hits the right proportion/style notes for me. Glad we have options!
And when you have Deadpool options, you know what you get? A Deadpool Party! Or a bunch of Deadpool cosplayers at a comic convention...
And just like that, I will finally own a Deadpool toy. The DX version basically comes with every accessory I've ever wanted for a Deadpool. It's crazy how sometimes a figma gets a real loadout of accessories and sometimes they come with almost nothing.
Now I'm torn between keeping my Revo Deadpool reissue pre-order or wait for Figma's...Figma's will probably be easier to pose with a really nice amount of accessories but no interchangeable eyes and be more expensive. Maybe I'll just wait till Figma's is released and watch reviews/comparisons.
Deadpool is up at amiami. 55 for regular and 79 for the dx (yen to usd). Part of the discrepancy though is they have a discount on the regular but can't offer that on the dx.
What's the deal with the DX version? I notice HLJ doesn't offer it. Is it something exclusive to certain stores? How likely is it that NY will have it? Thanks!
Yeah, what's going on here with the DX version? So far it's only on amiami or GSC direct. I keep forgetting, GSC direct is payment upfront right?
I don't like guns they gave Deadpool. If these are the guns he's currently using in the comics then it's fine, but seeing these none realistic looking guns is something Hasbro would do, not a Japanese company!
Yeah the DX is exclusive to just a few stores. Which is also why it's not discounted on AmiAmi like they usually do with stuff. Made it a super easy choice to go with the normal one.
Ultimately decided I'm good with the regular release. While I like the *idea* of the boxers, they'd pretty much never be used. Same for the chimichanga and partially unmasked face. Came out to 68 shipped from NY (when I paid in yen rather than USD).
Thanks! I have this odd feeling, limiting the DX to a few stores was a strategic business move to persuade people to use GSC directly.
I went DX because I'll probably only use the option parts it comes with. Already have Revo Deadpool as my main, ML for crisp head and Mezco ordered for weapons. Good thing is they can all share a shelf as the Mercs For Money.
Right, that's not one of the stores it's exclusive to so why bother going through there? They're just acting as a middleman so of course it's marked up. And if you don't like the flat shipping rate from GSC, just go to AmiAmi or Amazon Japan.
Just went and ordered Zero Suit Samus. Can't wait to have her in hand after seeing how gorgeous she looks online.
