It's not very good.
i couldn't agree more.
I'm planning on repairing my Siege Chromis and painting her up into someone else or maybe selling her.
I definitely agree. She works well enough for the general IDW1 style I'm going for in my Generations collection, but I'd love to see a more IDW influenced design with a removable shield/backpack, maybe from the Cyberverse Deluxe line if that continues. Her design in that Series was very IDW influenced.
If you want IDW goodness, I highly recommend seeing if you can get hold of the Belzebubs (I'm not sure I spelt that right) Iron Lady upgrade kit. It has an IDW style Halberd and shield for Chromia and the Shield can even tag on the back of Chromia's vehicle mode though it doesn't completely replace it. It also has downsized versions of the combiner weapons for Arcee and Chromia in the Combiner Hunters pack which are pretty neat too. It's hard to find it for a good price but well worth it if you can snag one as they're fantastic quality
Is t30 chromia that great compared to the siege one? I was planning on getting the t30 one back when initially revealed her siege one but i just procrastinated on both figures until target had a sale on the figures and i finally bought her
From personal preference, the T30 is the superior figure. She has greater posability including wrist joints, more personality, her panties don't pop off ( which might be a negative for some ) and her face has much more character. However I am bias to the IDW version of the character
And she isn't without her negatives. Best to be cautious when posing her as some of her limbs are quite thin and for me specifically I got a replacement after my first T30 Chromia had one of the side pods connected to her canopy that clips onto her leg in vehicle mode snap due to accidentally putting too much force on the canopy while they were still clipped on. Lesson learned: ALWAYS unhook the side pods FIRST when transforming her .
But ultimately it's down to personal preference. If you want her because you like the IDW character, it's T30 all the way. If you want the G1 Cartoon version, you're probably best off getting Siege.
New mods for mygirls...
I do believe this is the first time ive seen Minerva posted on this thread.
Looks like a Breakaway custom.
Correct. It is the Minerva head from the Takara God Ginrai box set and toyhax stickers
That Reprolables Minerva is swol. I think I prefer the NuRiD Vehicon repaint.
@Insane Galvatron did an adapter for the Nightbeat T30 mold, and Carzap might be a great candidate to become Minerva. If the adapter will also work on the Drift mold, it might also lean me towards a Drift body customed into Minerva.
My latest fembot:
I like her, but not $20 like.
We need more fembots. I am hoping WFC adds a Flamewar or Shadowstriker or Slipstream in there. I'd love WFC versions of them. Especially Flamewar and Shadowstriker.
Give me a Glyph, Flare Up, Minerva, & Lyzack too.
More size classes too! They can't (almost) always just be deluxe class! And I don't think we've got a new mold fembot as anything other than Deluxe for ages have we?
