Honestly, the difference in molds between 3rd party & official is striking.

MMC Tintanika (Strika), MMC Azelea (and all her other 3rd party versions), FansProjects Echara and Comera (I can't talk much about their molds though), and whatever other ones I'm missing. They have some pretty nice molds/somewhat compact backpacks.

Then you move on to the official releases and it is just disappointing. You would think we would have better versions of Chromia, Elita-1, Windblade, and Arcee (waiting on the MP to change my opinion). Instead most are remolds of each other and enormous backpacks. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong direction but man does it suck to have so few official options.

    What do y'all think?

It's terrible. I was so happy to buy the siege Chromia and POTP Elita-1 but the molds are just pure disappointment. Especially next to Siege Jetfire and Ultra Magnus

Hasbro is driven by the almighty dollar, 3rd parties are hobbyists doing what they think is cool or sexy. Sadly fembots just aren't a big source of profit when the target audience is ten year old boys.

However I think a line targeted at girls with a bunch of fembots could likely be successful, a Transformers equivalent of She-ra. I wonder why they've never given that a try.

That does sound like a good idea.

A collectors series of Fembots would be the dream. They definitely know people are willing to shell out a couple hundred bucks for Unicron and MP figures (I forgot about Black Blackarachnia, who has a pretty nice mold).

The issue is the Hasbro designers are either forced to or worse actively choose to use designs that just weren’t meant to be real world toys, let alone actually transform.

Windblade has average backpackage for a jetformer while still looking feminine but also like she’s an actual transformer, but then Arcee and the, I cant believe that this is an actual official team name, Female Autobots are fucking atrocities.

if they used good designs, like Windblade and Strongarm, then I’m sure Hasbro could knock them out of the park.

    It’s as you say.

Their Generations Arcee looks like a Pre plastic surgery Renee Zellweger teenage mutant ninja turtle chimera. And those hips.

Their Nautica is a terrible remold of another terrible Cracker Jack mold.

The Generations (more so the Japanese Sarah Stone version) Windblade is pretty-okay. She’s too small and under articulated for me though.

I didn't want those images in my mind, but now they're there and I can't stop that.

A highly articulated, high-quality fembot is all we're asking for. Just wish it wasn't Arcee and Windblade all the time.
Honestly, this is the same argument for all the OP's and Megatrons that get released each wave.

Meh it doesn’t matter anyway because I’d rather pay more to have the non waffle plastic with a little more love given to the molds 3p versions.

Really? I'm a big 3rd party collector, but still think Generation Arcee and TFP 1st edition Arcee beat all the 3rd part fembots like MMC Tintanika (if you can even call this a fembots), MMC Azelea, FansProjects Echara and Comera, etc.

That’s some classy wheel placement on Strika.

And honestly? Those don’t look good to me, like at all. The alt modes have the legs very obviously chilling and the robot modes are featureless humanoid that doesn’t even look like a transformer, with the exception of that Strika which is ruined by that super classy wheel bra.

Gotta agree with KuroKage2001 on this.

The Strika one looks like a transformer but terrible placement on the wheels. If I wanted breasts (outright in my face) on my figures I would get the Nicee figure. I do like how clean they look though.

Well it does a better job getting both of their G1 modes and having little kibble than the has/tak figures

Though I agree the wheel boobs on strika is a little much, but I like it better than some of the alternatives I've seen.
