I've been keeping tabs on my local TRU on a daily basis now. I've spotted First Edition Arcee, Cliffjumper, Starscream, and Vehicon, but not once have I seen FE Optimus or Bulky. I asked TRU employees about them, but all their searches turned up nothing.

Are FE Prime and Bulky being re-released along with the other FE guys? Has anyone actually seen them in-store??

I assumed they would be in stores by now. It is kind of weird that nobody has seen them yet.

Well somebody's seen them, as there have been threads of prime having fewer paint apps, and stress marks on bulks joints. But that might just be the bbts etc. Releases. :|

Yeah, I decided to bite the bullet and get them online.

    Totally worth it.

I always figured they were holding them til Black Friday and beyond. Seriously look how long it took them to put up the GDO voyagers on their site (can't say about store sightings since I haven't been in TRU for months now).

Hasbro's terrible TFP distribution strikes again. I'm going to be out there Thursday night when the doors open for Black Friday, and if they're not there, I'm just buying them online.

I was going to just buy these at TRU, but after seeing how incompetent they are with knowledge, I said fuck it and went online with BBTS. Now, I have my First Edition Voyagers, and TRU still does not have them. lol Sure, TRU did have the Deluxe figures first, but who knows when they will get their Voyagers in.

Now, it could be one of two things for the delay:

    1. TRU complained to Hasbro about the reported QC issues that the Voyagers have, and they have to wait for fixed versions of these figures (highly unlikely, but possible).

    2. TRU wants to push these during December for Christmas.

ONLINE! But I assume they'll show up in TRUs this week (black friday) or in December for X-mas, if they were ever gonna show up at all

Just got back from TRU. Nothing. And I don't think it's a case of everyone in line ahead of me snagged them first. When I finally got in and made my way to the Transformers section, it looked the same as it had all last week. There wasn't even an empty space where 1st Edition Op or Bulky had been. Nothing.

    Online it is.

Hasbro has absolutely zero input in distribution. If the retailers order their product, then they ship them out to the retailer's warehouses for some prescribed date, and then it's out of their hands.

If they're not on shelves yet, then there's a couple of different answers:

    1) Hasbro has not produced/posted the shipment yet. Kinda dubious, because the online retailers have all received their shipments
    2) They're at TRU's distribution centers, awaiting shipment across the country
    3) They're in TRU's back rooms already, and haven't been put out yet for god know's why
    4) TRU cancelled the assortment again

Good luck finding any online. Both BBTS and TFSource are sold out. RK has them, but $50 each(unless I'm looking at the listings wrong). Haven't bothered to check anywhere else. Guess there's always Ebay...

I figure it's either 2) or 3). 4) is highly unlikely IMO. Why order and stock the deluxes, but back out on the voyagers? Doesn't make sense.

Why are they in your desk? They should be on top in full display.

I've just checked BBTS: they still have 488 sets of FE Optimus & Bulkhead, and 143 FE Bulkheads... there aren't any FE Optimus though.

That's odd. Did they even case pack them this time, or was Optimus really that more popular than Bulkhead?

Pretty popular I'd say. I also figure a lot of folks probably went ahead and bought a PRiD Bulkhead after the FEs were cancelled, and probably don't want a second Bulkhead.
