So whats you favourite TF weapon? Not a Transformer that turns into a weapon, but weapon that comes with a figure. A personal favourite of mine has to be Powermaster Prime's black laser rifles. Or Chromedome's red laser cannons. Or Vroom's big white rifle. What do you guys think?
I've gotten a lot of use out of Energon Starscream's sword, even if the figure was pretty rubbish. Soundwave's battery guns are pretty phenomenal, especially for being one of the very, very few G1 weapons that stow in alt-mode. Classics Jetfire's guns are versatile and fun as well. Machine Wars Megatron's 2-part guns that store in his legs are an old favorite as well.
I've always liked Dinobot's sword & spinning shield, and the same goes for Depth Charge's fish gun. Actually, Crankcase's mechtech weapon is actually one that I like too. Ooo, and if Targetmasters & Turbomasters count...
I forgot about Soundwave's battery gun, It is pretty cool I prefer using it when displaying my WFC soundwave than the weedy little gun that came with it. Energon Starscream's sword was pretty cool. To be honest I've always hated guns made with translucent plastic, but when it comes to swords I think it can give it a good 'energo-sword' vibe.
The absolute best one for me is FP Bruticus Shotguns. I own about 8-10 of them. Transformable (from 2 to one), sleek looking, will fit any Classics transformers with 5mm peg. Perfect size for deluxe AND voyagers.
G2 Laser Rod's swords. And G2 Laser Prime's sword is the one sword to rule them all, and in the awesome bind them!
FP Bruticus' shotguns are a favorite of mine, because they're outright awesome. Fortress Maximus' rifle is bigger than most figures, so that's a win right there. Stormbomb has a chain for his weapons. A f*cking chain. Epic win. ~Z PS: I almost forgot to mention "Offshoot," who comes with MP Rodimus. He's a weapon, but he also happens to be like the greatest Targetmaster design ever conceived.
Honestly i do not have a favorite single weapon. Some i like is DOTM Ratchets mechtech its pretty cool. Classics Inferno's water cannon. It just looks good. I love Generations Thunderwing's cannons. the fact that they combine and use the 5 mm peg awesome.
Those swords are pretty damn sweet, particularly primes one. I was very happy when masterpiece Grimlock had the same gimmick.
Yeah, those swords are definitely unique, and if ever get around to replacing the 2nd one that got stolen, I might just paint em up to be more show accurate. Like, with the blade part being silver & all. I'd also like to get rid of that Mace string & replace it with a chain of some kind, or maybe even a staff. The chain will probably work better, though.
G1 Devastator's rifle and Laserrod swords. Also, G1 Prime's gun is pretty sweet. More recently, Movie 1 Protoform Prime's flamethrower is pretty awesome.
I REALLY like the Alt/BT weapons that transform into actual car parts. Also, I'm a HUGE fan of Targetmasters.
Speaking of which, I also miss my G2 Turbofire gun that transformed into his truck's engine. Well, not so much transformed as it plugged into the hood, but you know.
Well if you like this one, you might like the Action Master Banzaitron gun. Actually, a lot of the Action Master weapons were cool, and the ones from Prime's trailer suit Megatron & Ramjet well. Also about ratchet's cutter, that makes me think of some pretty nice, I mean nasty torture scenes...
