G1 – the Triple Changers (staged a Triple Takeover with the assistance of Starscream... who they later wisely dumped)

BW – Dinobot (duh, this was one of the best ever)

RID – Scourge (tried to use the Fortress Maximus upon his master, and got lobotomized for it)

DOTM – Sentinel Prime (considered the best part of the film)

    Anyone else?

Triple Takeover is such a funny episode. I'll go with that.

Actually nevermind i'll switch to this. Dinobot's character arc is the best betrayal because it didn't end after it happened, it ended once Dinobot died fighting Megatron, kicking the crap out of the Predacons and destroyed the Golden Disks.

it's a tossup between these. i mean, dinobot's betrayal was pretty weak at first, but the character arc as a whole was amazing.

I know it doesn't count, I just want to point out the armada starscream beytral was pretty interesting and at least different. On the subject, the armada thrust siding with unicorn one was pretty cool
