I realized how much I miss the Misfits known as the Scavengers now. Just almost have several scenarios where Crew Lost Light meet W.A.P.

Rodimas will slap his face and said "Primas, why me?"

 

I'm still behind a couple issues at the moment, but so far I've grown an appreciation for: Rodimus, Drift, Ultra Magnus, Ratchet, Tailgate, Rewind, Swerve, Whirl, Cyclonus, Prowl (because desks), and Orion Pax.

The characters in this series are so much fun. I like them all for different reasons.

EDIT: Dammit, forgot Ore.

 

It's really, really tough for me to decide.
Chromedome is a definite... probably followed by Whirl

 

MTMTE: That's hard since they're all more or less likeable, at the moment it would have to be between Tailgate, Swerve, Whirl, Chromedome, Skids, & Rewind

I cannot wait for the meeting of the Lost Light and the WAP. XD (Please do it, Roberts, please!) You know the WAP will reappear somewhere (they have Grimlock) but I do hope it's for a meeting with the Lost Light. (Though they may instead meet another one of the characters like Overlord or Drift, who is...drifting now, I suppose...)

 

Eh you forgot Rewind. I am not in favor of Scavengers meeting Drift. Overlord will slaughter them much to pleasure of D.J.D. Drift is going metaphysical journey of inner awareness.

Bombshell a better Prowl?   I must say one thing Bombshell is far better in IDW.

 

I like prowl best in the mtmte flashbacks and I don't think he is bombshell in any of those, is he?

I know its going off subject slightly but if we was to stretch this to regeneration1 as well, has anyone got any favourite character in that?

 

I was mostly joking... but I suppose that raises the question of whether Prowl in the MTMTE flashbacks counts toward him being a "favourite" character in RID.

I agree though. I do like Prowl's portrayal in the MTMTE flashbacks. I'm pretty lukewarm to how he is depicted in RID... in fact, I occasionally hate it.

Some that come to mind (in no particular order):

MTMTE: Tailgate, Swerve, Whirl, Chromedome, Rewind, Rung, Misfire, Spinister, Pipes, Cyclonus, Orion Pax, and Ultra Magnus.

RID: Starscream, Shockwave, Needlenose, Swindle, Dirge, Wheeljack, (people will rag on me for these) Bumblebee and Arcee.

I don't really despise what's being done with any characters, either. The current creative teams seem to have a pretty good grasp on who's who, and it's so glorious that I can say that after the last few years of IDW's comics.

James Roberts never forgets. Has his work up till now not been enough to convince you of that? The Scavengers will eventually return, and in such a way that brings back six bits of throwaway dialogue Roberts wrote years earlier and also ties up three continuity errors.

 

I am kind of glad. Yeah I wrote fanfic for Misfire but that more I want to see something better. It is probably did not do the char justice.

Actually rereading the whole thing Prowl kind of grew on me. I never was big fan Bee no matter what the incarnation. Arcee just been to violent for my taste in this portrayal.

 

Cyclonus, Ultra Magnus, and chromedome

Cyclonus has been my favorite since the fight with whirl at the beginning and I really like his character design

Magnus is one of my favorites just because he's pretty much the best fighter on the ship. I cared more about what happened to him than Rewind.

Chromedome is another one of my favorites because of how awesome mnemosurgery is and he has the most interesting past in the whole crew mainly because of the institute, the memory erasing,and his history with prowl and rewind.

Ultra Magnus Starscream

 

I love that Needlenose is even in RID. He was one of my favourite childhood toys that I never saw in fiction. First time I saw him in comic form I squeed just a little bit.

 

Ummm, I like that Crosshairs is getting some screentime?

(seriously with all the love the Headmasters are getting, isn't it time to get some Targetmasters involved? Furman made Nightbeat into an A-lister, where's the love for Pointblank and Scoop?)
