My second favourite song in the film, but definitely my most favourite Disney villain song. It’s no surprise why it became a favourite with so many, including me. It gets my vote. Oh, well, it’s still a nice romantic song.
i love the movie for the be prepared song. however, after that song, the movie really falls a bit flat. mainly due to the lack of actually delivering what the movie just promised in that song. Scar basically just sits on his butt the whole rest of the movie, after becoming king. they had him become all nazi like. and never delivered. would of been neat to see him actually do something evil. rather then just take over a bunch of lions.

Happily letting his pride and his army die of starvation rather than leave Pride Rock, striking Sarabi, allowing his army to overhunt and ruin the Pride Lands. All pretty evil and worth mentioning. Also, he was so evil he forced Zazu to resort to singing "It's a Small World" to try to entertain him. All the songs are terrific. I can't pick a favorite. In the musical, my favorite of the new songs is probably "Simba Confronts Scar", or "Shadowland." Also, "He Lives In You" is one of the most beautiful musical songs I've ever heard. I'm probably gonna go with Circle of Life as the best song across all mediums the story has been told. You just can't beat an opening that epic, sweeping and powerful.
Definitely agree with the OP, the Lion King is for sure one of the greatest Disney, and animated overall, movies ever. I still get feels everytime I watch it. For favorite song, I really, really like "Circle of Life". But I also love "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". The first is strong and inspiring, and the 2nd is absolutely beautiful. I also actually really like the music from Lion King II as well; I thought it did an excellent job carrying on the musical themes and preserving the same spirit of the original. "He Lives in You" is almost as good as Circle of Life imo, and I've always had a soft spot for "Love Will Find a Way". <3 Lion King.
i did. by saying there are far "more" evil things going on in that movie. if you think about it. at least Scar didn't like anyone there to begin with. Mufasa was letting the lions eat all his subjects. who he claimed to be his friends. if you think about it. Scar hated them all to begin with. so which one is more evil? the one not caring about the people he hates? or the one who feeds the people he loves to the lionesses who he fathered most likely all of them. *including Nala.
