Marvel Comics: Ratchet, he really came into his own there. Shockwave, Soundwave, Ultra Magnus, Galvatron, Grimlock, Prowl, Thunderwing and Bludgeon were all excellently written.

G1 cartoon: Optimus Prime, Cullen's voice is the best thing about the show and unlike Marvel his death wasn't lame and he wasn't angsty. Close second is Omega Supreme simply because of The Secret of... episode alone.

Dreamwave: I didn't care much for the writing in Dreamwave, but Shockwave was just a BAMF throughout the continuity.

IDW: Best G1 Megatron ever.

BW: Rhinox, he was my first ever toy, but the show had so many great characters.

RiD: Sky-Byte, the only reason to watch the show.

A/E/C: Vector Prime, he and Alpha Trion are my favourites of the 13.

Films: I should say Ratchet, considering I liked his design and Foxworth's voice, making him my eternal avatar, but as he's been underdeveloped in the franchise I'm happy to sit on the fences regarding Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream, Ironhide and Soundwave.

Animated: Shockwave was just a BAMF here too.

WFC/Exodus/Prime: Thus far, Starscream has been the most interesting character, and Irvine admitted he was his favourite to write for the novel. The Seeker borders on sympathetic and ethical at points.
