There was a time when Blitzwing was my favorite. Gonna give it to Springer now though. The guy is just endearing.

 

My top 3 G1(in this order):

Springer- Thought he had the most interesting designs
Blitzwing- Was great how the G1 version hid the other alt mode, just too many jets/tanks at the time
Astrotrain- Great design, but I hated how small his arms were

Top 3 updates:

30th Springer - Excellent update to an old classic.
30th Sandstorm - Granted he's just a retool of Springer, but the designs look stronger than his G1 counterpart
Henkei Astrotrain - I loved the "bullet train" design. I just didn't like that the parts were connected to his arms.

 

Blitzwing. He had two great alternate combat modes.

 

Feking Broadside.

 

Blitzwing. He was made even more awesome in Animated with his split personalities.

 

Probably Springer. Or Blitzwing...the G1 version, not the shitty Animated version.

Why did I read it as Worst Triple Changer?

I voted Broadside because I'm the crazy who hates mass shifting, and he's the worst offender I can think of.

My favorite is a split between Octane and Astrotrain.

I guess I'd go with Octane, because his new henkei deco... does things to me...

 

astrotrain for me no hesitation. the best triple changer.

 

Springer, cuz I love his Generations figure.

 

I liked Octane. Of course I also loved Springer, Sandstorm, Blitzwing... dammit, I think I love them all. But I liked his portrayal in Starscream's Ghost and he kind of got the short stick with his Classics mold, so my sympathy in this case goes to Octane. He did not even get his correct name and was even called tankor in the latest comic from IDW, although they did not care for the registered Trademarks of Hasbro before and called Rodimus just Hot Rod.

Yup! That was a very story arc. I was amused as a kid when I saw the episode.

I'm having a tough time deciding between Blitzwing and Astrotrain...

 

Octane was my first G1 decepticon so he has a level of nostalgia associated with him that no other decepticon aside from Starscream can touch.
