I'm curious if any of you have a favorite toy you regretted selling or you lost along the way. A long time ago, my father bought my brother and I the Jetfire-Jetstorm pack and we split it, with me getting Jetfire. I have no idea where the figure is anymore, it is probably long gone. Anyone else have similar stories or regrets about moving on from figures?

Original Armada Starscream. I think I got him as a birthday present. I know it's a tf fangirl stereotype, but I'm a huge starscream fan, and kid-me was no different. While beast wars was my first transformers, Armada I was able to catch every episode of. Starscream quickly became my favorite character in the show, and his awesome toy certainly helped cement that. I had so much fun with it as a kid, it was easily my favorite toy that I owned.
Buuut then a few years later, a friend and I did some toy-swapping/borrowing. This was, of course, intended to be temporary, but then I ended up never hanging out with or seeing him again. Armada Starscream was one of the victims of this incident. It used to legitimately eat me up inside regularly any time I thought about it, which is partly why I was hesitant to try collecting when I was older. Of course, the one good thing is that one of the toys I got in that trade was Tidal Wave. I had kind avoided even looking at any of the toys for years and had forgotten that I had even gotten him in the trade. While it wasn't The Same, knowing that I at least had gotten a cool (and expensive) toy of a cool character out of this shitty situation helped me sort of "move on" in a way.
Now I'm into collecting and it doesn't bother me much anymore. I fully intend to purchase another one someday to add to the small but slowly growing starscream portion of my collection. Until then, I have the awesome generations armada starscream toy to help fill that void.

When I was around 13, I gave away my Bayformers toy Bumblebee and Optimus Prime to my nephews who were like 2. They're 8 now, but they probably fucked them up badly :(

    TOO. MANY. TO. NAME. ;)

Seriously, though, if I were to pick a few it would probably be my Six Shot and Shockwave figures. I took those two hooligans everywhere, wound up forgetting them one vacation, and never saw them again. :(  I also really liked the Wheelie toy, but I think he got sold in a garage sale with my collection of Dinobots.

I love that set and because most of mine are MISB, I still have them. :D

FYI, I gotta move this over to TF Toy Discussion, but I know there will be many more with 'regerts' (Snicker's ad)

Energon Scorponok. Had a huge cull in the collection over the last 2 years as I wanted to refocus my collection to G1 and it's offshoots.

Already had G1 Scorponok and didn't want multiples of characters. I do like the mold though. I really must get around to getting Botcon Double Punch at some stage.

A couple of years ago, I started moving my old G1 toys from my parents' house to my house. Found everything in their attic except for one of Superion's feet and Mirage. It's weird because all of Mirage's weapons are there but there's no trace of the guy himself.

I think the ONLY TF I've ever lost was a knock off of G2 Scavenger. So, he's my favorite by default.

Titans Return Hot Rod. I gave it to a kid that was visiting my house to play with and literally moments later, he broke the rear spoiler in half. I gave it to him thinking I could go back to the store the next day to pick up a new one, but I haven't found one at any of the stores I went to. Still searching though.

Aside from that, the only toys I give away are ones that I found replacements for. I used Energon Bulkhead and Shockblast from my childhood for my classics display until I got Generations versions of Springer and Shockwave, then I gave the older figures to a couple of relatives who had younger children.

When I was 7, I got a member of the Predacons who was Rampage, as one of my first Decepticons and nearly my only Combiner member in all Transformers. As in Predaking Rampage, not beast wars. I never got any of his team members but he was good enough on his own that I would always transform him and play with him as a nemesis to my Autobots. I loved that toy, but as time went on and Transformers faded for a couple years and then picked back up when Generation 2 came out, I was able to dig out my old Transformers and find some friends in school who also missed Transformers and had some Transformers of their own. Well we decided to trade, and beings they had some characters I had wanted but never experienced, I ended up trading my Rampage for 3 other toys. I still regret it to this day because the other toys were mostly just minibots like Beachcomber and Cosmos. I forget who the other toy was. But to this day I still miss that Rampage and all the memories we had.

Thankfully, I have the original Predaking box set reissue that I can open up anytime the nostalgia hits me hard enough.
