CW G2 Superion today… and by extension, the G2 Aerialbots in general. But, mostly the big guy!

Never fails that I have to pick him up whenever I see him.

Jazz is my fave for the day.

SS Bumblebee Movie Dropkick. Stumbled across him in a bin today while organizing, and had mostly forgotten what a solid, traditional little deluxe he is.

Don't think I need to keep identifying my favorite sub-faction, but they're a core Skids away from existing bite-size

Being a longtime Javelin fan, I wish this figure was made available in an uncustomized version (meaning no car modifications, or essentially "stock"). I've considered buying it and customizing it myself, but it would be a lot of work for what is still a movieverse bot-- not my favorite aesthetic. Overall, though, for a figure that falls into a series that I generally dislike, it looks pretty good-- and is surprisingly G1-like in its transformation. I wish the tail lamp sections on the legs weren't fake, but I realize not everyone has a faux-forming hangup like I do.

Alt-mode is definitely a hold over from the era the original toy was made. It doesn't bother me as I grew up with the show he came from but I'm also someone who lobs the "base-modes are just robot yoga poses" at other Titans so I can see why it's a turnoff for others.

Yeah I get why it works for many— I’m just too old to have “grown up” with that one, so it doesn’t hold any nostalgic appeal to me.

EDIT: But I must reiterate that the robot mode looks awesome.

I’m with you. But given the general dearth of 70s muscle car Transformers, he’s about as good as we’ve gotten since the halcyon days of Cybertron Downshift, and I’m a total sucker for the classic “the hood is the chest” robot scheme.

These inglorious bastards today. Took Devastator apart the other day in anticipation of Magic Square Bruticus and to reacquaint myself with their transformations. Involved but not frustrating. Love these lads!
