Can’t remember if I’ve ever shared this guy before… The world’s jankiest Browning, in his equally janky box. I genuinely love how beat-to-shit he is (somebody obviously loved him before he entered my collection), but I really do need to track down a junker as a parts-donor to address some of his more glaring issues some day.



Edit - If anyone DOES have a wrecked one of these they’re looking to part with for a reasonable price, hit me up. Mostly need a trashed one for issues in the shins/knees and ankles.

I had a G1 Skullcruncher when I was like nine. It was the coolest thing in the world. I was ecstatic when the Titans Return version came out, but having it in hand, it left me cold. This guy though, I adore.





They're near-identical, weird right? I think, probably, because I had Skullcruncher when I was nine... what I liked about him was his stupid kid-appeal gimmicks. His head not only came off and turned into a guy, but it sat in his crocodile mouth when he was in beast mode, it was the coolest thing imaginable to me at that age. I have a strong memory of also having a Horri-Bull, and also liking Horri-Bull, bit also scoffing a bit at the fact that Horri-Bull's head guy only sat in a weird carved-out cockpit, not something awesome like a crocodile's mouth.

Anyway, this version doesn't do that. It's not even a headmaster. But it does do something stupid and awesome that, at nine, I would have loved, which is really the emotional box I'm looking to tick with a Skullcruncher over any specific features.



An energy crocodile head forming over the robot head? The jaw can flap open and closed to reveal his robot head? Oh yeah. Dumb as hell, and unbelievably cool.

In the interest of fairness though, child me would have dinged him points for his main crocodile mouth not opening properly. Child me put a lot of thought into these things.
