Well, luckily the figure itself already has some "swords" included (Which also forms part of the doors in vehicle mode)... so, time to get some paint ready for customizing?

I’m admittedly not a Bayverse fan, but that would be a fun project— especially if I could find a G1-ish face to fit in that helmet. This figure leaves a respectable amount of its car parts “uncut” and obvious in robot mode, making it more palatable to my tastes. I like seeing the vehicle reflected in the robot build.

Vortex! Probably my favorite Combaticon Design. Onslaught (Especially his MMC rendition) is a close second.

Made out of only two molds, and Elita-1's stickers are (for now still) pretty nice, but I really like how Orthia looks all assembled. :D

I’m really tempted by Volatus, too. I love his colors. I already have UT versions of Onslaught, Swindle, and Brawl (which I like a lot), but I didn’t care for their take on Blast Off and Vortex. I’m itching to get the MMC versions of them.

Funny you mention that. I was THIS close to getting the UT Vortex. I thought the colors and design looked cool until I saw the unsightly kibble that really just broke that beautiful sillouete. I think of you got Vortex you would be very happy with him. I haven't opened my BO yet, by what I've seen, he will probably be my least favorite but he does look dang good! Hope you manage to get the ones you want. :)

Today's favourite was my first Ebay purchase back in 2005 along with his teammates: Korean oversized Onslaught...

    20211121_214930.jpg 20211121_214801.jpg 20211121_214717.jpg

Only found out he existed earlier that year and when I found him and the other Combaticons on Ebay, I had to have them. Thankfully they weren't the ridiculous prices they go for now.

As a child, I always wished the G1 combiners were larger so this was a dream come true. My only regret was that the people who made this didn't make the Stunticons too.

My fav for today, I thought i wouldnt like him, but hes made from good plastic and has quite intricate details. Wish his side torso and rear legs are not hollow.
