Umm, ok. I actually rather like the soundtrack, thanks.
Well that's a win-win for you, then! My brain latches onto songs and will replay them for days on end, and that soundtrack is one that I don't want to be reminded of.
Finally found a close to being properly sized Grapple...
First, just to say that I got this guy so to have a Grapple in my collection. I had considered the WFC version as it does look great, but it was just too small for me, I just couldn't get pass it.
So finding this guy last week was a great find and a proper alternative.
I will admit that he's on the other side of the pendulum and is just a tad big (maybe 10%?), but only by a bit as it's much closer to a proper scale with the rest of the figures, while WFC version is closer to 25-30% too small and it just sticks out too much for me.
Anyways, this guy is a pretty decent figure, has ankle tilt that's a nice touch.
He does have a few weird flaws though, no actual support for the crane that's on that small flip piece on his arm and just floats there in the alt mode, and the really bad choice to make the arm connectors very short/small mushroom push-on that easily pop off. And lastly, the "what the hell" thing about him was his hands that aren't 5mm accessories compatible (and no weapon came with him either). He's already "customized" by getting a bit of filing down to create gaps in the hands so to hold 5mm items now (and repainted to black) and been given a Nonnef extra gun that had to be snipped to fit as well as possible.
But aside these flaws, he's a fairly decent figure that I'm enjoying and a great addition to my "family".
Who needs Dinobots when you can have Cyberverse Megabee.

On day 7, a two-fer. I have never laughed as hard while enjoying Transformers media as while watching the "Ultra Magnus, Master of Disguise" scene in Siege. And I thoroughly respected the dumb troll of the "Decepticon Mirage" scene. Obviously that wasn't the intent of the show, but the practical result is still that every time I look at these ridiculous toys I laugh at the very idea of them, and after a while, I developed a genuine, unironic love of them. They absolutely fill me with joy.
The rest of WFC never hit that "dumb but in an amazing way" sweet spot again. Earthrise was bad but also boring, and Kingdom, in an absolute betrayal of the spirit of the series, actually had some good bits. Ah well, I still have the Prime Wars trilogy.
My son had Universe Inferno and I thought it was a really cool mold, but the joints were terrible on it. Aside from that gripe, I’d say this Grapple easily outshines the WFC one.
Love the colors on that figure.
Those mods are enough to make me interested in that figure. What’s needed for the IDW look?
And I like the word "Slaug". Covers all bases.
Did you scratch the paint off his now-red chest circle?
And "homages" Smaug the Fire Breathing Scourge of Middle Earth. Suits our fiery, bad tempered Ceratops.
I didn't notice that, but now I can't unsee it. I wouldn't be satisfied until I ground it off with the Dremel.
Gotta be 'Bee.
Arcee was easily one of my favorite characters and figures from Transformers Prime.
