He's a tremendous figure! His articulation isn't the best, but he makes up for it with that amazing sculpt.

The worst part is that, as I don't remember seeing it at all in stores, he was really under the radar for me for me.

Then the same with the TR version... something about this character/figure that just seems to get poor distribution and such.

So I looked at pictures, and never sure if he was worth it. I kept being on the fence about it, as no one really speaks/spoke much of it....at least that I saw.

I simply liked his look/shape. So, with Blur being a favourite from the TR line for me, I got stuck between which version to get, but more and more, the TR being a rehash of Blur's mold, and fairly cheap, the 30th version was more to my liking, but when I checked at some point, I found that he wasn't that available and fairly expensive... and yesterday, your picture brought back the question, so decided to check, and this time, a few showed up at lower prices that I had seen before, and found one on eBay from a collector that appears to be as mint as can be for acceptable price...so I cracked and got it.

I look forward, as after a few years of "debating", he was a "regret" not having... so now I can't wait to have it...

    Thanks for making me spend!

Bit of a Frankenstein from years ago today - Parts-swapped bits from Sidearm Sideswipe and the Rally repaint to get rid of the Allspark Blue and make him more cohesive.

I can’t profess any great love for the Bayverse, but dig the hell out of this toy. Goofy alt mode chock full of Easter eggs, a fun, unique transformation, and a robot WITH ROLLER SKATES, which is just silly. Good times.

Still love this guy too! Coincidentally, I too did some parts swapping with a 2nd SA SS I bought. Ours look pretty much identical. Only difference I see is I painted the rims silver (makes it SO much better!) I think I gave him the silver head too... I’d have to dig him out to be sure.

My favorites of the day... the pre-Siege leader class sized figures.

    A25B5BB6-F308-4164-98EA-C82F59F5B492.jpeg

CW Megatron is still a way underrated figure in my opinion.

Big Cannon has to stand in with Rodimus Prime since we never got a leader sized Galvatron.

While G1 Metalhawk remains one of my Grail pieces (that bot is seriously expensive on the rare occasions he turns up for sale!), I did manage to pick up his modern incarnation recently. Being a retool of the excellent Triggerhappy mold you know he's going to be fun to mess around with, plus the POTP Pretender shell kinda works now he's a headmaster :)  20200513_111308.jpg 20200513_111906.jpg 20200513_111644_001.jpg 20200513_112148.jpg

Fansproject Wildrider today. I can't believe it's 7 years since I bought him. The Stunticons were my favourite Combiner team growing up but I hated how they didn't scale with the Diaclones.

The Fansproject Stunticons fixed that. I waited quarter of a century for them but it was worth it though Motormaster is a pain to transform. Also, the large car mounted cannons on the G1 toys were cool. Shame no modern version has them.

I'm not a huge fan of the G1 cartoon but the Stunticons appeared in two of the better episodes, Masquerade and Cosmic Rust.

I love Wildrider's intro, "I'm Wildrider and I wanna bust somethin' up!!"

I liked them in RID too.
