Ladies and gentlemen, we have a first!
Seriously, this is the first time anyone has ever chosen Titanium Megatron as a favorite.

Personally, I'd like to see that design revisited. It was pretty cool, but the figure...wasn't.

I actually like the Titanium series, and just bought that Megatron and the Optimus for 5$ each this Fall at a "geek market" sale.

For most, I like the designs, trouble is, also for most, while the diecast is good, the plastic parts are not. My Jetfire has a broken ratchet at his leg so can't stand anymore, the OP's arms will not stay in place at all, all the "rubber plastic" type parts are warped, most parts that should snap in place simply don't. Scourge is probably the best I have, but still, no weapon. The Fallen is absolutely great, but again, loose parts, rubber warpage, etc.

It's a line that could have, SHOULD have been great, but again Hasbro screwed it up for doing their "good enough, it'll sell like this".

For the Optimus, I know that the "look" was reused in the main lines, but I never got any similar ones, and now I might if I see one cheap.

That Megatron though, is the worse of them. As you stated, the design is interesting, but they did it very badly.

Thanks for the insight! Now I know what kind of headache to look forward to. I haven't opened any of my die-cast series ones and probably never will now. I best keep them boxed and pretend they didn't have those flaws lol.

They're also my favourite purchases of 2019. Two of them long awaited grails...
