This is great! I have been swooning over G1 Computron along side his TT UW update .. Heart!

 

Such a cool looking figure. If I ever pick up a Shockwave for my collection it'll probably be this guy. Prefer his proportions to the MP.

I was able to pick up another copy of Siege Optimus to replace by QC riddled copy and my new copy holds together much better. I’m gonna give the ‘lesser’ copy to my son who isn’t concerned about such things. Not that the problems are glaringly obvious, but to an old collector like me who has refined his craft somewhat since joining these forums, it was enough to hinder my enjoyment of the figure. But it was a decent placeholder until I got the new one. So as a final salute, I’ll make my first copy of Siege Optimus my favorite of the day one last time.

 

My preferred weapon set up (seriously, that jet fire cannon is too heavy).

So, something weird happened here.

I love this guy in every mode EXCEPT his armoured up mode. Armoured up mode is a bit too stout for my liking. In my head, Magnus is lanky AND beefy. Big fucking deal, right?

But that's what Magnus is all about?!?! I don't care about the little white pseudo-Prime, or some alt mode tribute to some line I never followed.

So much for preconception.

I've enjoyed this figure so much in ways I never thought I would. And Not enjoyed it in the ways I was expecting to. Vive le Siege!

 

Transformers Prime First Edition Starscream:

This is the figure that kicked my adult Transformers collecting into overdrive. A perfect representation of the character, with the slouching posture and that shitty smirk. His alt mode is also pretty good despite somewhat visible legs. My absolute favorite piece in my entire collection.
