Yep another one, what we got like a thread for both leaders, Galvatron, Unicron, Ironhide even? Well damn it what about everyone's (or at least mine) favorite scheming coward!

For me it is no doubt that this is my favorite design, after all he is my favorite incarnation of my favorite TF

Armada Starscream is the best Screamer, both personality, design, and character arc.

Of course I got to give a shout out to his War for/Fall of Cybertron design as well. Of course thats mainly because of how much I love the FOC deluxe figure


And one final shout out. Robots in Disguise Starscream. A truly great update and a great homage to the original design.


So everyone, what is your favorite Starscream design?

 

G1. The seeker design is still one of my favorites of all the eras of Transformers.

 

G1 and Armada for me.

 

The visual? Always gonna be G1 for me (but that RID version is a great update). Toy? Classics Armada. Love that mould. I am tempted to pick up to pick up that Warrior Class RID Toys R Us figure, but I'm afraid that I'll love it and wish to have all the Seekers done in that mould, which would make my wallet cry.

 

Machine wars. I love the altmode.

It has everything Starscream should have. He's tall and powerful looking befitting the second in command, but sleak and lanky enough to be convincingly cowardly. He's dark, but still colourful and distinct. His face is capable of a wide range of emotions while instantly evoking his scheming personality at a glance. His alt mode is sleak, his weapons are sleak. The design is the character of Starscream personified.

 

Probably the Movie version, followed by Prime.

 

Armada is definitely number one, with special shout-outs to Animated, nuRiD, and Cybertron. But really, every Starscream design is pretty great!

 

G1 and Animated, best of the best

Nothing else captures SS like these.

 

Prime Starscream. He just looks so slimy and diabolical. The thin, hunched over frame, the long claws, and that smirk, all of it just feels so very Starscream to me. The fact that he's also my favorite Starscream helps a lot.

 

I hate G1 Starscream but see his design as one of the more memorable and instantly recognizable ones.

Does his Beast Wars appearance count?

Either way, I'll have to go with WFC, I think it looks the coolest. I really like his Bayverse and Animated styles too.
