Like the title is stating, like we all have a favorite Autobot, Dinobot, Wrecker etc...I decided to create a poll on " Who's your favorite Seeker ". I don't know if I forgotten any others. Dreadwing, Skyquake, Terradive can they be classified as Seekers? Mine is and always will be Thundercracker.
For me, there are the original three Seekers, then the three Coneheads. I can't even look at the 'rainmakers' seriously, as they were pretty much background nobody's. Also, I prefer Thrust. Always have, and I have no real reason why. Maybe it's because I like his colors.
The rainmakers and MTMTE welcoming committee have some nice color schemes tho. And the ways DW, FunPub and IDW have developed their characters are pretty cool. Especially Sunstorm.
No love for Ramjet? He *rams* things with his *head*! Also he has one of the most-fun Spotlights in IDW, where he plans on taking down Megatron and then ruling everything!
When he's portrayed decently, Starscream. I really like plotting, and scheming characters. Unfortunately, Starscream is all too often treated as a joke, like in Sunbow, Marvel, post TF1 movies, and post season 1 Prime. However, his Cybertron, IDW, Animated, season 1 Prime, and even a lot of his video game appearances have all been really cool. Thundercracker is a really good character in IDW, and he was decent in Cybertron, but other than that, he's usually portrayed as a boring thug. Skywarp has, at times, been decent in IDW, and nothing else. Ramjet was a wannabe Starscream in IDW, while Dirge was a wannabe Thundercracker. All their other appearances haven't been noteworthy at all, while every other Seeker, haven't had even 1 noteworthy portrayal. Well, I have heard Sunstorm was cool in DW, but I haven't read those comics.
The only real answer is Starscream, but since it's an opinion poll, it's Skywarp. Thing is, why would anyone like Skywarp when he doesn't really do anything? Ironically, I think that's actually part of the appeal. You see other people like interpreting that in various ways ranging from "guy who pushes people down stairs" to "lazy but brilliant" ninja to random dumb thug to even something as ludicrous as a scientist (RotF version). Then again, it also could be something just as simple as "black jet."
As a kid, Skywarp became my favorite because he was partially purple, my favorite color. Due to the fact I grew up during G2 I had G2 Ramjet as my stand-in purple jet dude but I definitely prefer the black and purple color scheme.
