I need to listen to more of the early stuff (which I don't like so far) but as of now, Wish You Were Here is my favorite album from them. It's everything great about them rolled ul into one package.

I like Darkside as a stand alone the best. My first exposure that really left an impression was the video for Learning to Fly off of the Momentary Lapse of Reason album they would play on MTV when I was about 9yo. I'm lucky to have seen them live, sans Roger a Waters but that's fine I'm a David Gilmore guy since he's the first singer for them I knew.
Anyway having experienced the Division Bell tour 1 month after graduating HS back in the summer of 94(Oi veigh) I really lean towards the live albums. I'd say Pulse or Live from Pompeii are best. One or the other really.

Pink Floyd has to be my all-time favorite band! Never gotten to see them play live but have had the pleasure of seeing two cover bands called: Australian Pink Floyd and Brit Floyd. With that being said, Meddle & Animals are two my favorite albums. As a teen, I wore out those two tapes a couple times, as I cruised around in my '85 Coupe De Ville.

Probably "Dark side of the Moon." I use to love the hell out of PF in high school/early college years during my "find myself" phase. Though as I've aged, they're just not a band that I find myself revisiting just to put on some tunes. Not that they're aren't an amazing band, just that love for the great bands of the 60s/70s (and especially 80s rock) have grown that much more.

Just for the title - "Several Species of Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave and Grooving With a Pict". Realistically...damn..."Have A Cigar" maybe? There's too much good Floyd to pick just one.

Album - hard one. I'd go with "Wish You Were Here" or "Dark Side" but I have a soft spot for "Momentary Lapse of Reason" too. I almost said "Animals" but it's so out there, I have to be in the proper mood to hear it. But on those occasions I can really dig it.

Its either Meddle (fave track: Echoes) or its successor: Dark Side of The Moon (Fave Track: Time).
