With the releases of TFC Hercules underway and the release of Maketoys efforts looming, I thought I'd see what the fandom thought of the Constructicons and who their favorite(s) are.

Personally, Scrapper has always been my favorite. The whole evil equivalent to Wheeljack was such an awesome thing to have within the Decepticon ranks. Sure, 99% of all Decepticons are about war and conquest but, the 1% that aren't: Build. And what fine works he's designed for his crew to engineer. Cyberforming New York City into New Cybertron, the powerchip rectifier, helping Hoist and Grapple make...whatever it was (and I just watched that episode too!) lol.

So, fellow TFWers, who's the tops on your list?

 

Mixmaster slightly edges out Hook as my favorite. But, my choice is based on my love of their toys and not their character on the 'toon. Not sayin' that I had a problem with the characters though. The Constructicons were amongst the first TF's I owned and Mixmaster and Hook just stood out to me as a kid.

 

Hook. An anal-retentive elitist who points out the flaws of others. In terms of a villain, what's not to like?

 

Yup, as far as character, I liked Hook.

As for the toys, something about Bonecrusher did it for me. The way the feet were hidden in the treads and the scoop became backwards for the chest. Loved it.

 

Scavenger. His toy is the most fun to play with too. In terms of the TFC guys, Bonecrusher is my favorite, Scavenger is my second favorite. Gotta love tread legs.

 

The mad scientist.

 

Bonecrusher. He's the first of the team I ever owned.

 

Always been partial to Scrapper for whatever reason.

 

Long Haul was always my favorite, I always felt sorry for the poor guy. Hook is right behind him. Gotta love a snooty surgeon.

Hook... and also Scavenger, because I feel bad for him and want to give him a hug.

 

Mixmaster is pretty awesome as well. The mad scientist that's happy to destroy as much as he builds. What's not to like? It doesn't hurt that he's batshit crazy lol.

 

The green one with purple.

 

Well, personally, I like the purple one with the green better, but you're welcome to your own opinion.

 

But...you just said Hook and Scavenger, they're both green with purple. Are you lying or just seeking to infuriate the powers of the cosmos? Either way I'm thinkin' of cookin' some eggs. How does fried over easy sound?

And tbh, for the purpose of further discussion in the thread: I'm actually getting a little sick of the green/purple ness of the Constructicons. Not gonna lie, it's a good color combo, but I wanna see them in legit construction vehicle colors.

More yellow, red, orange and gray (essentially RotF without the green and more orange)! No, not ALL yellow like G2, dat's ugly.

Ah well. Gives me a chance to vote for Long Haul, since I voted for Hook last time.

Everyone minus Scavanger. I think it's because its simmilar to RID Grimlock. I do not like him at all.
